HELP: Farming at low troop levels

I've been playing clash of clans for quite a while now. I'm LV. 51 and have a Town Hall of level 9. I am focused on farming right now rather than my trophies and base. I keep my trophies around 1000-1200.

My main goal is to get my main troops upgraded to at least level 5. At the moment, my troops are in the lower levels.. My Archers, Barbarians, Giants, and Goblins are all level 4. Wizards are 3 and Wall Breakers are 2. I have unlocked the Minions and Hog Riders as well and they're level 1.

I'm trying to find the best strategies for farming so I can get my troops upgraded, but most of the videos and strategies I've found use troops at very high levels. I need some strategies for farming that use lower level troops. Hog Riders work well for me because I have plenty of DE to spare on them.

Anyone have any strategies or suggestions for me?

Since you, obviously are a premmie th 9, the loot penalty is too much to farm of th7.
i would suggest barching at 1600 trophies where you get plenty of th8

I will definitely try out the batching strategy, although I am worried about my barbs and archers being such low levels.

Don't worry, am a th7 myself with lv4 troops and i find good loot there. The loot will be good albeit less due to the loot penalty on th8

level 4 troops farm in 1500-1600 trophy
and use
giant,8
wb,8
arc,40
and the rest is goblin more goblin is good
if you only have level 4 troops
goblins wipe fast the loot,

I'm a TH7 lv 4 troop almost max'd out and I'd recommend 12 Giants, 20 wizards, 60 archers. 2 healing spells one rage (all lv 4) and trust me, its the cheaper version of GoWiWi.

he is struggling getting his troops up and u r suggesting him d longest and costliest army to raid , fantastic !!!

Ur best bet is Barch or Bam

go for only collector raids , dont even think of storage raiding , i'm sure u will get at least one collector raid every 20-30 nexting , stick around gold 3 and gold 2

This is fine but I'm looking for farming armies specifically. Farming armies that take a very short amount of build time.
