I have found a very good way to farm at Town Hall 8

Yesterday, I was playing around with farming comps, and I found one that could easily hit unprotected storages and collectors. This is commonly known as BAM. I used it for a bit yesterday, and got 10 skulls done, with no boosts or no long hours of playing. I farmed at around the 1600-1650 range. I used 2 rax orchers, and 1 rax barbarians, and this is because one of my barracks war upgrading to level 10. I also only had 1 dark rax minions. I found that this leaves a very good balance of barbarians to use a meat shield, and archers to do the damage. This also leaves a few minions, to get unprotected storages and to get a few more collectors if needed.

I see a billion threads on how to farm at th 8.
As if everybody knows about Daddy's video on BAM. Don't get me wrong I think Daddy is a great YouTuber.

What would make BAM so much more effective than BARCH? I have used both a lot. But BARCH has yielded far more gold than I could keep count. To put in perspective, I have gotten 25 lv 8 walls done in less than 4 days by just using barch. How exactly would BAM be more effective when both are intended for the same thing?

Don't get me wrong, I like to BAM every now and then. I just have more success when I BARCH than when I BAM.

I think BAM is a bit more effective for open storages since the minions can go right over walls, and often a town hall 7 will have a storage 1 or two layers in.

just because it is faster to cook...

= 5 raid/hour instead of 3 raid/hour with barch

i use wb with my barch strategy to get storage behind walls.. when i use bam... i bring few wb too... but maybe i should try with less or not at all
