No, it's just because, because. I guess it's one of the the nicer looking obstacles so it makes your base look more, photogenic?
I didn't get the message that the Home and Gardens channel would be coming by to take a look at bases.
It's just aesthetics and visual tastes. As mentioned, it's one of the more pleasant-looking obstacles. It helps that it is symmetric, unlke the stumpy one and the horizontal log one.
That round bushy tree is also a popular one to "collect".
whats not to like about it,makes my base look secluded and it has more privacy when its surrounded by dense forest
u kno for the late night villager action
I save mine because it just looks cool. No real reward to it, really.
On a related note, what's the deal with the Christmas trees? Did those take the place of regular trees at one point, and players have just never removed them? Did players have to spend gems for them? They look a little out of place in July...
Christmas trees spawn during Christmas time only. They are somewhat of a limited edition collector's item.
This past Christmas had gold decorations on it, the Christmas before that had multi-color lights. If you have the older tree, it shows that your base has been around since at least 2012. They are rare.
I'm too poor and lazy to buy decorations
So I'll take the free pine trees instead
