I am a TH 8 working on maxing my walls out before moving to TH 9. I wanted to know what trophy range I should stay in , and what kind of farming army composition you guys should suggest, for farming gold easily, without having to break into storages too often. Thank you for viewing and replying.
If you dont want to break into storages too often, then you are going to have a hard time finding bases to raid.
As a TH8 Gold 1-3 is where you will find the easier opponents, but you will need to develop a strategy to get to those storages as there aren't a lot of easy loot bases.
Personally I'd say Silver 2 to Gold 2. I often farm in that bracket and I'm th8 also- most of the time it depends how much gold/elixir you're after if its just bits and bobs you can stay around the same trophy level you are currently. Something I've done quite a few times.
If you don't want to break into storages, be ready to stay at TH 8 for months. When I used to survive on collector raids, I was getting nowhere. I was just a TH 8 working on collectors and working on level 7 walls. And look at me now, 3 WTs upgrading to level 6. I'm not saying don't go for collector raids, I'm saying don't run on collector raids(just to make it clear)
I am not saying I want to only run on collector raids, I have broken into storages often as a TH 8. I would like to stay in a trophy range where there are a few good collector raids as well. If you can suggest an army composition to farm with efficiently and which is decently quick to make, I would be glad. Currently, I am hovering between 1550-1600 trophies, and I use BARCH with some wall breakers.
The best range I've seen for th8 is between 1500 and 2000 trophies. Most of my farming is done within the 1700-1900 trophy range. Throughout the day I'll jump between 1600-1800 trophies due to constantly dropping then pushing back up to continue my farm.
