Suggestion for war match ups.

I know a lot of people have been complaining about war match ups. I have a suggestion. I think war match ups to some degree needs to account for strength distribution. We have had several bad matchups. There are 2 major elements to the strategy and tactics of CoC war: the deployment of your strength (who attacks who), and the skill in the attacks.

I'l use a 20 village matchup as an example and assume all of the villages are well developed. If one clan has 5 TH10, 5 TH9, and 10 TH6 it can be matched up against a clan with 5 TH9 10 TH8 and 5 TH7.

Especially with the last update, the second clan does not have a chance against top 5 of the first clan, but the top 10 of the first clan can take all of the stars of the second clan.

i know what your getting at but thats a bad example, your assuming th6 and th10 are of the same value to the clan war matchmaker where in reality it is far from that

i think the clan wars do a very good job at matching clans up, sometimes the other clan will be a tad stronger or weaker but it's usually well balanced.

I agree. I don't know how wide their curve is for creating matchups but it doesn't seem broken to me. We cream more than we get creamed but both happen. It is currently "fair" but revisiting how wide the matchup range is periodically is a good idea.

Uhhh, that is not what I am saying. In fact I'm saying that the TH6's bring the strength measurement of the clan down when that clan is in fact overwhelmingly stronger in the war.
