A feature to select your CLAN WAR LINEUP [PLEASE READ]

there NEEDS to be a way to select who you want to be in the war and who you dont without kicking, im a clan leader and so far ive had to kick people who i dont want in the war and reinvite them after starting the search, this resets their donations and makes my clan look less active and therefore makes recruiting harder,

not only donations, but my coleader got a 97% in war and it would have been 3 stars if his barb king wasnt upgrading, and another guy had his spell factory upgrading so he got 0 stars but i didnt want to kick him since he had 3000 donations and im not gonna make him drop to like silver 1 just to stay out

Another reason: our only loss in clan wars so far was because 4 new recruits left on prep day so that put us at an 8 attack disadvantage so if there was a way to select your LINEUP our win streak would still be alive :(

I just posted this very idea in the war forum before seeing this. We have the same suggestion. Our clan spans a number of time zones. I think it would be best if players could make themselves unavailable for war as well as allow leaders to exclude players from a war. Someone going on vacation could exclude themselves, and when we know someone want be able to participate in a particular war, we could exclude them.

Due to spanning a number of time zones, we have also had a few players who disappear because they have Internet trouble. This would allow us to exclude them when they no-show until they come back.

It also really sucks when an active player at the bottom does not get to play and someone who is gone is included in the war.

BTW, I also posted a suggestion on accounting for strength distribution in war match ups. Not sure if it should have been in this forum.

What if the leader decides that only the cream of the clan attacks in war?

Then the clan will be matched up based on the people who are included in the war. No problem. If people lower on the list are not allowed to play, they will revolt or leave.

We liked having some 6 in our clan and it is no problem in war. There really is not an advantage to excluding them except for the strength distribution issue I posted about. War is actually more profitable for the little guys, especially since all the donations come from the top.

You're right, another idea while we're at it,there should also be a search button on the forums.
