Is there any advantage to winning a trophy season? EXP points or gems? Anything?
I am currently #1 in Gold 2 with 3 hrs left in the season. Am I in line to gain anything because of it?

Only the top 3 clans get rewards at the end of each season, and it is gems. They are distributed to each clan in varying amounts, depending on what place the clan came in. And I think only the top 10 in each clan only get the gems.Quote:

A trophy system for the top 3 clans only benefits a very select few players. It does not affect anybody else.
A trophy system that benefits individual players would be very beneficial. It would trigger a lot of competition for the top spots.
The amount of trophies someone has often reflects status and skill, at least to many people in the community. While it is true that they give no reward, if you want to get into a better clan you need to retain more trophies. And trophies are still key to many players in farming. For example, a person in TH8, like myself, would probably want to stay somewhere between 1500-1700 trophies. So they do not give you any rewards unless you're in a top clan, but are still key to gameplay.Quote:

At this point, I am #1 in Gold 2. I'm not really farming. I'm not really pushing. I'm just having fun. Why should I hold on to that #1 spot for the next 3 hrs? Why should I not just keep pushing on up into Gold 1? This system makes no sense. There is zero incentive for me to try to win a trophy season.
Just go to Gold 1. If there were an incentive you would see dozens of players at 1799 or 1999 or 2199 or however high u can go in a league just to get the reward. It'd be too easy to get that reward. Besides being in high gold 2 doesn't mean you deserve a prizeQuote:

There should be an incentive no matter the rank number, be it elixer or gold or perhaps in gold levels dark elixer... And higher up dark elixer... Mabey a gem bonus for the top three per season... I
