You need to line up the enemy CC, ideally so when CC troops come out you can freeze most of them along with an inferno (bonus points if you can freeze CC troops, inferno, and an xbow). Typically, I attack from the side that puts the CC just behind the TH and an inferno.
Personally (TH10) I've used 2 golems, 4 pekka, 17 wizards, 4 WB, 4 archers (for getting a clutch 50%), CC is whatever you can get (I usually don't use it), spells are 1 lightning, 1 rage, 1 jump, 2 freeze (swap a freeze for a rage, if you know you don't need 2 rage e.g. clan wars vs a terrible layout). I've had plenty of battles where I never used the WB, or the archers, or my CC, or a jump, and my BK is upgrading 24/7 lately so I'd say your BK is optional, although your AQ is mandatory it's too hard without her ranged attacking power.
The basic order is usually: golems, wizards behind, wb and pekka once a path s cleared, then hero(s), freeze, lightning if required, rage, freeze again, hero powers before they are dead, archers and/or CC if it will get another star. If a dragon comes out of the CC, don't stress as your wizards/AQ should demolish it quickly while it's distracted by golem/pekka.
It takes a bit of practice, to get used to dropping everything required in the right order, timing your spells, hero abilities, etc., so don't expect miracles on your first attempt. If you get it right, this is a great 2-star army even vs maxed defenses (my pekka are still level 4, my AQ level 20; my BK hasn't been used much yet as he's almost always upgrading), but you should expect to have dead hero(s) unless the base is weak.
p.s. I prefer pekka over witches, as they are more reliable tanks and I don't have a level 40 BK to tank; occasionally I swap some wizards for 2 witches, but I feel that this just helps on brew time, not overall power.
p.p.s. it's expensive!- not for farming, although I can manage a couple a day and farming with balloons the rest of the time and still make some profit in elixer.
