I don't know...I was in sub 200, I made clan wars, then as I was building my trophy count back up I missed a clan war, and I'm in a clan of 35 people and I'm one of the top 10-15 players in our clan, I think some of it has to do with trophies, but I'm not entirely sure exactly how.Quote:

that's not what I am talking about. I am talking about the ordering of TH's for a given clan
I believe it's based on first TH then defensive structures levels.
So a shoddy equation would be to take the TH and give it a numerical value ie. TH 7 = 7 / TH 8 = 8 etc.
Then each defensive structure has a number along with level, so
AD lvl 5 = 5 / AD 6 = 6
Add those points, then that's how it's determined.
Typically, there are premmie TH 9's in my clan who are ranked higher than me, but I have better defenses, so I reckon the TH is also a bigger multiplier. Also, there have been horrible TH 9/10 in the past who I've been higher.
TL;DR:
Clan War Bases are ranked according to TH lvl and defensive structure levels. I believe it's also told in the CW thread.
I have same experience. My clanmate jump to th9 prematurely, then his rank jumpe significantly. This is bad in clan war, because i would command my clanmates to attack by ranking order, then this premie th9 have difficulties in doing soQuote:

The exact formula is not yet reenigeneered for as far as I know of.
What I do see myself is that new defensive buildings weigh a lot. And that the level of X-bow/IT weighs a lot. For me its looks like:
Town Hall Level > TH Exclusive Weapon Level > Other defenses.
Heroes and walls weigh a little but not so much in my opinion.
Yeah I have to agree with the other people that the TH level is probably the most important factor. There are TH9s in my clan who are in the mid 60 range who are ranked higher than me and I am a TH 8 level 74. I also noticed that there is a lot of emphasis on point defenses rather than splash defenses, but that might just be because there are more point defenses.
