Sometimes I wonder what a horrible race we are.

We're getting a lot of people joining and leaving our clan right now - it's been ongoing for about 2 hours.

The amount of people who are just a blight on humanity is just surreal.

We've had many join and request troops straight away. We've had some who just blurt out profanities before leaving. And we've had one say that he's from "cocbd" and has the power to ban people and reset their village. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to have a shield against being kicked by my elder boot.

I just think why.

Anyhow, that's the end of my rant for today.

Nothing is wrong with you.The disgusting species that comes to your clan,requests and leaves are known as clan hoppers.The want FREE troops.

Unfortunately this is what is known as life.

They should ban people below 21 years old from using any form of internet chat.

I use teamspeak when I'm playing with my buddies some SWTOR. We don't have a password just because but this sometimes lets you meet people... not sure where they broke out but it's just unreal. Can people really be that bored?... I guess they can be ;)

Here's the cycle of my world:

They join, say nothing, donate zero, get kicked, come back, ask why, get told, cuss me, and leave.

(in that order)

Another cycle is we will have a strange rash of people simply join and leave within seconds. I know I've had 70+ players join in a single day, easy.

It took a lot of work and a lot of turnover, but no one donates less than a 100 now.

@Sandalhat: Age is nothing but a number. You can see the most immature 21 year olds and above in CoC if you try hard enough.

OP the best way to combat this is to switch your clan off of anyone can join and into invite only. Anyone can join clans are put onto a open clans list for players who have no clan to see. Naturally being on this list attracts hoppers and other people you don't want.

Having a clan anyone can join is like playing public games on Xbox and visiting nude beaches.

Open clans attract people you wouldn't want in your clan anyway. Joining a public game on Xbox is likely doomed to fail because people worth playing with are in private matches with other people worth playing with. And all the people you see at nude beaches are the ones you sorely wish would have stayed home... Meanwhile the ones you'd like to see are absent. :)
