How did you attack this? It looks like your TH8 so if you just aimed for his collectors, you would have gotten 300k+ easily. The only way this loot is possible if he has all of his collectors full which would be 150000/2 * 6 + 10% bonus + 200k cap from storages = 700k.

Yeah I would say that's a very noob amount. That configuration of troops should have easily got the 3 gold mins in the west. Sometimes you're too excited to think straight when you come across rare sights such as this, I must admit i've half looted similar villages before, but never seen anything more than 900k total.
He is obviously townhall 8..
