Clan Leaders and Co-Leaders should be able to give rewards out weekly or monthly to most active clan members. Such as most troop donations, best base layout, etc. The rewards could be a pool donated from the Leaders and Elders. Coins, Elixir, small amounts of gems even. Maybe Supercell could provide a small Gem package to go out monthly to the Clans Member of the Month that could be voted on my the entire clan?

Another option would be letting clan leaders give out an entry into a raffle. Leaders, Co's, and Elders can donate to a prize pool, and the winner is selected randomly at the end of each two week tournament.
Or maybe have a list of rewards designed by Supercell and the leader can choose 3 that they want for their clan, and they could be rewarded automatically at the end of each tournament, with the stipulation that no one player can win more than one of them.
I really don't care what. I just want something more tangible to reward my good players with! There are only so many "atta-boys" I can give out and still keep it exciting.
I don't think any resource based (gold, elixir or DE) could be used as a clan reward because of the risk for exploiting by players. But non-resource based rewards could be possible. Maybe certain clan flags or other decorations that could be given to whichever member donates the most troops during a league cycle, the best attack or defense in a clan war, recruits the most new clan members, etc.
It could be possible, but honestly, it would just add more clan drama in my opinion. "Why did xxxx get the reward instead of me?" For my clan: no thank you.
Giving away special items would get abused even more so. People would create clans just to get the items. I think the best solution for minimizing abuse is to set a 24hr or even 1-2 week time limit on giving out rewards as well as limits to the size of the rewards. That's why I kind of like the idea of the reward being random or the amount of the award connected to the receiving member's town hall number or level.Quote:

Perhaps a shiny trophy that appears on your lawn and gives you 5-25 gems when you open it, or you can just leave it there so people know how awesome you are. Maybe let a leader give out a bronze, silver, and gold trophies during each tournament. 3 items over a two week period is extremely hard to abuse. And anyone patient enough to try to abuse it, kinda deserves the minimal reward it offers.
Don't you already get this whenever you give out elder or co as a reward? There's a very simple answer: "They earned it because they (got more stars/donated more troops/told more funny jokes/designed a better base) than you. If you want to earn it, you have a chance to try harder in the next tournament."Quote:
