Clan VS Clan, Clan Rewards, Clan Ranks, Clan Banking, and more improvements
Hi Im Soolsily...(Feel free to skip this if you want to just hear the idea)
Hi, I go by soolsily I am a fellow clash of clans player and I truly enjoy the game. I am a town hall level 8 with about a 1600 trophy count. My clan is Young Ballistic (feel free to join) and i have been playing sense December :)
Intro
Clans are suggested to be a important part of the game as it being clearly in the title of the game "Clash of Clans". However the real use of clans in game aren't reaching their full potential. To address this I have come up with a revolutionary idea that could change the game and take it to the next level.
To bring a bigger importance to clans we need to give them a better use i believe we can achieve this threw a universal clan base. WAIT! Before you stop reading and wright about how this can never work please allow me to explain.
What Would be New About the Clans?

-More clan ranks
-More involved clan members
-The Creation of a new Game play
-Banking/Resource Investing System
My idea is clan members would invest their resources into this universal clan base; For example the basses would have similar defenses as a normal bases only bigger and stronger haha. The reason for investing their own money would be to defend a set amount of gold/elixir that they can store in the base for safe keeping. This money that the player stores in their base will increase over time and they would be given it back in a weeks time.
Example: You put 100k gold and elixir into the clan bases gold storage; in one weeks time if your cold isn't raided you would be given 150k gold and elixir back. (The more trophies you add to the clan=the more gold and elixir you can store)

A Clan VS Clan System!!! Is the one thing every clash of clan player wants to see SO badly! And I have figured out a way it can work :) First let me ask why only the Master players get to enjoy a fun clan tournament?! I feel every clan should have the opportunity to clash other clans in a fight to the death! Just like the Master Tournaments that super cell hosts clan VS clan would also be a weekly thing that all clans would be sharpening their swords and getting ready for. Like I stated in the Banking/Resource Investing System in my thread, players would be investing money and resources into their clan and in return they would get their return investment from a weekly clan battle!
New Clan Ranks and Ability's (Idea and most of the information created by: Jackbauer)
Title:Clan leader
Tier: 1
Maximum number allowed:1
Ability: Can promote anyone, kick anyone, change clan description, required trophies, accept and invite new players, and send group messages (hopefully a new feature they add) can fully edit and upgrade clan base
Title:Clan councilor
Tier: 2
Maximum Number Allowed in Clan: 3
Ability: Can promote new elders and officers, send group messages, accept and invite new people, and kick anyone who is elder and below.
Can edit and upgrade clan defenses with leader permission
Title:Clan elder
Tier: 3
Maximum Number Allowed in Clan: 7
Ability: Can promote new officers, but promotions must be approved by councilor or leader. accept new people, invite new people, can upgrade clan defenses
Title:Member
Tier: 4
Maximum Number Allowed in Clan: No maximum until clan is full
Ability: Can invite new people and help upgrade clan defenses. (Can also do everything a clan member can already do)
Title:Recruit
Tier: 5
Maximum Number Allowed in Clan:No maximum until clan is full
Ability:Can donate troops (cant request troops) Can talk in clan chat. **basically a testing period till accepted into the clan.

How would clans be picked to fight?
Clan trophy count and clan size would be a factor to your opponent!
How would these clans fight?
Threw the same Barbarians, Archers, Goblins and other clash of clan warriors we've come to know today! Clan members would donate warriors just like you do now, instead of sending them to another player they would send them to the clan Army camp! :)
How would clans defend?
Clan members would be able to donate money specifically to the upgrades they see important for example if their is a level 3 cannon in the clan base a clan member can upgrade it rather than the lvl 4 cannon next to it. The money donated for upgrades wouldn't be invested into the Resource Investing System, so they wouldn't be given their money back. But doing this would help protect their money and help out the clan overall.
Who would be able to edit the clan bases?
Everyone! However only clan leaders and high ranked clan members would be able to move the walls, defenses ext.
Who would be the one actually attacking the other clan that you would be clashing with? (Happy)
Good question! I have multiple idea's actually :)
Idea 1: Clan VS Clan battles would take up the entire day. Basically any clan member would be able to battle the opponent clan base (Just like a normal PVP battle today) and any damage done to the base wouldn't be able to be repaired till the day ends and the winner is picked! So lets say you attack the opponents base with your normal selection of troops and you were able to take out a cannon another clan member could come in and attack after you to hopefully continue destroying the base and so on! (this obviously wouldn't affect trophies because clan bases would be extremely harder than regular bases)
Idea 2: Clan members would have the opportunity to donate warriors to the clan base and the clan leader would be able to attack the opponent base. However i am not that wild about this idea only for the fact that i would want more people (clan members) involved.
Could any councilor or the leader do it at any time? (Happy)
No, Basically this would be a weekly event to give clans the opportunity to get ready and invest in the base. Being able to do this 24/7 would mess with the game.
Would there be more than one person controlling the attack? How many if so? (Happy)
Yes, I personally would like it to be all clan members but we can change it to make it so that you need to reach a set tier :)
Since most clans contain international members, at least mine does, how would this work? (Kyori)
Good Question! Ok so Clash of Clans has a Master Tournament once a week, this same idea would be used for clans! Basically lets say Monday you will be given the base your automatically that your clan would be competing with. So you would work on upgrading the base and investing money and elixir till the deadline which would be Sunday. During Sunday their would be a 24 hour attack period on your base and the opponent base and when the 24 hour period is over the winner would be picked and the cycle would repeat.
Conclusion
To get a project like this done I would need fellow clash of clan players input and support! So please help me tweak this idea and get it known and if we can get a lot of support for it we might be able to see it in a update! So please comment!
Other Good If Not Better Idea's
(Kreidler) I love the idea of clan wars it's a pretty common topic we have in clan chat. I like all the idea's I see above about this thread not sure of the server can support the "clan base idea" but I may have a idea more server friendly.
What if clans could send a challenge to another clan for the leader to either accept or decline. Now when accepted there will be a new icon to click in the attack screen like how we have attack or campaign now, so just add a new section there for clan wars. When you click on clan war it will start shuffling through members in that clan that have no shield on until you choose one to attack. All the game mechanics stay the same if a 2000 trophy count tries to attack the enemy clans 1200 trophy count player then he would gain only 1 trophy if he got 100%. This would ultimately hurt the clan sense a 1200 trophy count player could earn around 25-30 trophy's from a win against this other 1200 trophy player. This will prevent the strong from preying on the weak. End of the week total trophy taken from enemy clan add up and higher trophy's stolen wins. There could possibly be a new leader board too, for every clan victory you gain 1 point on the board.
Now onto clan ranks.
I have recently made my own thread about this but on a different subject. I'm trying to find a way to stop or make it much harder for high lvl trolls to trick players into giving them elder status and then wiping out your whole clan, and this is what I have gotten to with my thread.
1) Leader - has everything it has now
2) Co-Leader(s) can accept/invite or kick/demote anyone below this rank however no one else can
give you this rank but the leader, not even another Co-Leader.
3) Elder- can only accept/invite members has no power to kick.
4) clan member- no powers

(Sanjakimo) I think its a really nice idea indeed. Just my 2 cents on it:
A big communal "hyper"Clan base sounds awesome. However i feel the investment-esque style of trading resources backwards and forwards could be cumbersome. I think it could be simplified in this way, every clan has the opportunity to "construct" their clan base as a certain clan trophy count, a moderately high one at that to be fair but not too high. This is again line with the new patch trying to increase the value of the trophy resource, and would encourage clans to be aggressive and competitive.
To fund the base, the clan leader sets a tax for the clan (with a hard cap as to not be abused). So i set my clan tax at 5% being the max. Every time one of my clan members raids, 5 % of every resource gathered from the raid gets automatically donated to the clan vault. To keep it simple certain levels of resource would automatically upgrade aspects of the clan base.
eg. 15 mill gold gathered, better walls and defensive building, 30 mill , 50 mill, 75 so on and so forth.
15 mill elixir gathered, better NPC guard units and increased numbers, same as before, 30, 50, 75
Dark elixir could give strong special bonuses, nothing game breaking. So 5 mill could increase hero damage 1%, 50 mill 2% so on and so forth, of all clan members in the clan.
Now to make the clan base exactly that, a clan base, and not just the leaders base. Battles between clan bases could be automated on a certain day and just a simple stats vs stats blow for blow fight see who wins. And winning fights could give a 24 hour buff to loot for the clan, so 1 fight win = 3% loot bonus to all members, 6%, and maybe a cap of 9% .
Just some ideas anyway, also clan roles you suggested sound great. Im not sure how they will distribute responsibilities but i think there definitely needs to be more than member, elder, leader.

(Hamius) With making a clan base, I like the idea of a tax and that things are auto upgraded(clan leader would choose what would be auto upgraded when there was enough money e.g super archer tower, clan walls ect). For the base itself, there could be a huge wall to go around all villages which are in the middle. Also, the whole villages could be moved around in the base like buildings by the leader(if a lot of members vote against the move, it will be undone. There would also be super sized defenses like huge cannons which could also be moved around. To counter this powerful defense, people in the clan would invest into the clan hall(a town hall for the clan) which would then be used to buy super sized troops(like an expendable barbarian king).
To attack, each play could individually attack the other clan, which would not heal and no trophies lost, though attacks would need to be coordinated e.g One player making a breach in the wall, one to take down a super defense ect ect ect... You could only attack once (to stop people bombarding the base by gemming troops ect) finally for the clan army to finish them off.
