Sub 200 at th8?

I was down there a few weeks ago as TH8. Getting down was pretty easy, just dropped my Barb King and quit right away. Staying down is hard and you really cannot log off, you will get so many attacks and gain a lot of trophies instantly - it's crazy.

The loot for me was okay. I really did not encounter too many full collectors or abandoned bases, just really crappy ones that were easy to take out with barch. I did not gem barracks and there were only a few times I had to wait for troops to cook before attacking again. Most attacks consisted of 20-40 troops total. If you hate waiting for your next attack, sub-200 might be for you.

In the end, I don't think I netted any more profit than I would have staying in a reasonable trophy range. My biggest score was somewhere around 600K total, and that was one of the few abandoned bases I ran into.

I might do it again at some point. The biggest pain for me was getting back up in trophies to a reasonable range. That range above 200 and below Bronze 1-2 is like the desert; it's really just a noob wasteland littered with TH3's and 4's. Blah.

A couple of my clan members went sub-200 and said it was good down there. Me, as a th7, went down there to check it out. I had full de storage upgrading bk to lvl2, but then i get raided and lose like 200 de, i got out of there faster than you can say, Ya dont say?

Yeh as soon you get off your guaranteed to go up in trophies which sucks. Do you remember how much gold you were able to make per hour?

I would guess between 1 and 1.5 million per hour. I was a new TH8 and upgrading all new walls to level 7; I got quite a few done but didn't pay as much attention as I should have.

It wasn't like hitting the lottery, but it was also not a waste of time.
