Lightning Spell doing no damage to resource storages to about dummy attacks

I'm tired of dummy attacks consisting in using all their lightning spells on top of my dark elixir storage, with the loss of 1000+ dark elixir, aren't you?

I've thought about it, and I think a good way to avoid this is to make lightning spells not damaging resource storages, or at least, not damaging dark elixir storage, since having just 1, it's where the problems gets bigger.

I think that wouldn't alter "real" attacks, since the "real" use of lightning spells is to damage defensive buildings and enemy troops.

What do you think about it?

Part of the gameplay. You get trophies back for it... Since they lose.

That's one of the most stupid ways of farming. I also got looted out of dark elixir with this trick and i see no logic in loosing your trophies for some thousands of it.

As soon as you get trophies back when he surrenders it seems like an equal process, but it's not. The 15-20 trophies we get at the end are not worth the elixir we lost.

Suppose you're at 49% and you have a lightning spell. You see a DE storage with low health and it has DE in it. So zapping it would be not only save you trophies but also give you some DE as a reward!

I agree, it should be fixed/stopped. There is no skill involved in lightning DE storages, nor is there any defence against it.

Keep in mind, this is a common reoccurring topic and supercell ignores it. So don't hold your breath on it getting fixed anytime soon.

The solution to this is simple. Increase your trophies until there are almost no TH7 around. Once you get up into mid-crystal other spells are far to valuable for your attacks to waste the room on a bunch of lightning spells, so very few people do it. If you insist on farming down low this is the only real penalty there is in the game. It is part of the dynamic. An incentive for you to climb instead of farm. The fact that you don't like it means it is working.

Sorry, I disagree. I believe the game should be fun (and fixed) for all players, not just Crystal League players and above. Farmers and Gold League players should not be "annoyed by bugs/flaws", they're players too.

You're also wrong about the Crystal League. I've been there for last few months now and I still get lightning attacks against my DE storage.
