I have found this, where do they talk about match making time?

you have to also keep in mind that matchmaking is also based on whoever is looking at the same time as you as well.

A mix of TH10 and th7 or lower should always lead to mismatches. It's too difficult for 2 clans to have exactly the same number of TH10, TH9, TH8 and TH7.

In their case, they have a crazy difference between the first and the last. Maybe it helps them get better match-ups.

Just concentrate on the bottom 25. They already are missing one in the top 10. And the first one doesn't seem too active.

Kick the spy out. And close the application for the prep day

Losing that much wars is more likely due to your clan's teamwork issue. People are probably leaving or not attacking wisely, if at all. I've seen many 'any one can join' clans do better than that and they're vulnerable to hoppers and spies

No, getting SuperCell to notice this match making issue is definitely not the focus, especially since there has yet to be any substantive proof of unbalanced wars. While I believe there are issues, I do not know how big it is because no one has provided evidence. You and LURKnMERK came to say that you've had unfair wars yet there are more people on this thread who has no problem so even if SuperCell notices this thread, the topic will go ignored since it looks like there's just some angry war vets (no offense intended)

It is not in the FAQ, it is in responses to the multitudes of threads like this one that complains about the unfair matchmaking. The responses were made by SuperSteve[Supercell], he has stated several times that there will be mismatches because Supercell prefer that a match will be made over hours spent looking for a match. You may not have been reading the forums since the clan war started. There use to be a lot more threads complaining about long wait times for matches or no match at all.

1. We don't need proof that matchmaking does not depend on TH level, experience level and etc. because most already knew or realized that.

2. There are just as much threads asking for a longer wait to get fairer match up.

There are some here who refuse to accept that these wars exist because they have been matched quite fairly for what, 50 matches?

I have notiched that
my opponent leader (it wat the stronger TH10 )

1. start the search of opponent

2. exit immediatelly the clan as search was started !

3. finally ... after the search was completed (and my clan selected:( )
the big boy return to his clan

he also try to enter my clan (that was not closed) ... before return to his home :cool:

Now my question:
is possible than exiting imediatelly as search is started
the village is not counted for matching ?

if so this is baaaad bug and explay a lot of thinks !

Three terrible matches in a row for us (25 player clan).

Two wars ago it was 5 th10s, 5th th9s, rest th8s to our 2 th10s and 3 th9s, the rest th8 and 2 th7.

Result - pulled off the win

Last war was 5 th10s, 6 th9s, rest th8 to our 2 th10s, 3 th9s, and the rest th8 with 1 th7.

Result - pulled off the win

This war that we just started is 3 th10s, 8 th9s, rest near max th8s vs our one th10, 3 th9 and the rest th8 with 1 th7 still.

Result - likely a loss, opposing chinese clan has 39 war wins and greatly out-levels us. we also do not have the firepower to have our th8s do enough damage to their th9s.

I am leader of a clan that's 1 3/4 years old and we currently have 30 or so war wins. We have about 21,000 trophies consisting of a mix of pushers (3 masters; 15 or so crystal) and farmers. I find that about 40% of our war matchups were not well balanced, one way or the other (it was obvious from the beginning which clan would win). Since the matchmaking update, I would say that it is down to 30%. When the matchmaking takes longer than 10 minutes, I get nervous as that seems to mean the game is digging deeper to find a match. Recently, it has generally taken 5 to 15 minutes to find a match, never more than 20. The close matchups are the ones that my clan really gets excited about.

Although trophies are NOT supposed to be counted, we have never had a war where more than 1500 trophies separated us from the opponent. We recently added a TH4 (girlfriend of a member) and got rid of a rushed TH10 (with no inferno towers) to see what would happen and we immediately got 2 mismatches in a row (in our favor).

Current war: US: 11 TH10's (1 rushed); 15 TH9's (1 rushed); 10 TH8's; 4 TH7's (the 4 didn't make the cut)
THEM: 11 TH10's (4 rushed); 9 TH9's (3 rushed); 8 TH8's; 7 TH7's; 1 TH6; 2 TH5's; 2 TH4's.

Frankly we would have to be monumentally incompetent to lose this one.

I completely agree with the previous poster who suggested a "slider" to tighten war matchups for those willing to wait longer. Based upon my observation of the player level who are advocating that war matchups are generally fair, my guess is that the higher ranked the clan, the more likely that war matchups will be tight since the higher ranked clans will have mostly TH9's and 10's across the board. I sympathize with SC as the sheer variety of clan variation below about 19000 trophies is massive. But I do think that most folks would wait an hour or two for a matchup that is close enough for either side to win rather than risk a blowout one way or the other.

In my clan wars experience I have found matchmaking to be generally very good, although I will admit that mismatches can and do happen from time to time.

My clan has done more than 40 wars, not sure exactly how many. I estimate at least 75% of those wars have initially appeared to be reasonably equal pairings with the final result decided by 5 stars or less. Only about 5% of the time I would say that it was a unquestionable mismatch. The rest of the times one clan appears to be a bit stronger but the results do not always match up to the initial impression of the fairness and good attacking skills and base designs can win out over the apparently stronger clan.

My clan has recently gone through a very rough patch of loosing 10 of our last 12 wars. However only one of those loses was a matchmaking mismatch in my opinion. The other 9 loses, I can say as the leader of the clan, were decided by a lack of execution on my clans part. The hog nerf hit us pretty hard and my top 10 attackers have gone from getting 5-6 stars each every war by smashing their equals or higher, to now most of them are still trying to learn new strategies / upgrade troops and are not as effective at racking up the stars any more.

What I am trying to say is that, in my experience at least, more than 90 percent of wars have been decided by the relative skill levels of the two clans when it comes to attacking and designing bases, with less than 10% decided by the matchmaking system.
