War matching I think needs work

I concur that it has been really bad, but there is nothing you can do because it would take forever to find a "fair match." Also, I do not think you would be complaining if your clan had the upper hand, but that is not just you, it is a lot of other people as well including myself. We are currently in a clan war where we were undermatched, but we are still killing them because we are a well organized clan and have good attackers. I am sure your clan can still win, you just have to work harder than usual. Lastly, winning a clan war where you do not have the upper hand feels a lot better than winning a war where the other clan did not stand a chance or did not participate at all.

Some matchmakings have been very unfair. Even with all the effort allocated by my clan on the war it has become impossible to win some wars when the enemy clan has ridiculously stronger troops and defenses than the strongest player of my clan. Even the number of players in higher levels doesn't match at all. Wars started to be a loss of time and resources

I dont think it is really unfair. what you need to observe is your top 10 and top 20 players.
I think Supercell gives high weightage to those top players.
So if you have a few th10 guy with completely maxed troops, you can be matched up with many maxed defense players. Logically, 1 th10 player can attack 2 th10 defender.
If your top10 players are weak attackers, then you need to boot them out, else you will never win any war...
thats what we did and the match making improves tremendously.

Do you want to be on the side that is more advantage in clan war matching? Have you seen all the crying when someone is in the clan war with some clan much better than them? Do you want to be the one laughing instead of crying on forum when you lose? The solution is easy
Follow this guide with 4 steps, and you will be on the laughing side.
First, rush your TH (very important), because even your defend is match against TH8, you still seem to have big advantage when your clan are all TH10 and the opponents are all TH8
Second, don't bother with offense, just focus on defend. What it means is don't bother upgrade your troop in laboratory, and don't bother to unlock higher level troop, then your attack will be factor out during the match up. Then, because of your crappy offense ability, you will face with some easier opponents. That means, on the surface, all your TH level and defenses will look much better than your opponents.
Third, get some very low TH in your rush TH10, this will bring down the overall ranking, and now you will group up with a bunch of TH8, because you have some TH5 mixing with your TH10.
Finally, (just my theory and observation) keep your trophy and members to the minimal. I have noticed that, every war my clan goes up against, the opponents are within 2000 trophies of our own. Also, every time after mass recruit and our trophies bum up, then we will go against some clan that is very much better or difficult to deal with. In contrast, when we kick all the inactive members, and our trophy drop, we have a breeze in next war.
Sorry for the long post, now follow this guide and you will never lose in clan war ever again.

that's not how its worked for us we lost 43/48 wars and we were up against a all master clan once mate and my clan is made up or was made up of 6silver 6 crystal and the rest gold and they had heaps of near maxed th 9-10 how does that happen steve

Half of the stuff you guys have been posting is irrelevant to the subject of discussion guys thx to the plp who have actually made valued comments and YES many people have raised this subject in threads but as this has evolved from what it used to be it is now trying to get Supercell to notice so please if you notice the problems of war just post your name or whatever and help this thread to get supercells notice about it

Definitely keeping track of this thread and very interested on what the naysayers have to say now. There have been a few others with slightly lopsided matches and these threads with screenshots went unnoticed because barely anyone commented with the usual "matchmaking is balanced", "matchmaking not based on TH levels", and "matchmaking not based on experience level" craps.

if u hv tis for war, juz forget it. i knw alot of clashers doesnt like wat i m gona say, but just dnt bother abt cc troops or attcking. no point losing resources. find anoter war 2 days later. game is supose 2 b fun, n not frustrating or stresful.

What this example proves is that town hall, XP level, or trophies are not factors in the match making. Supercell has already said that there will be mismatches because of the desire to keep match making time low. There will always be mismatches as long as clans can choose when they go to war. This drastically reduces the available pool to conduct matches.
