TH8 Transformer Base Critique Requested

At the risk of much ridicule, I am presenting you with my TH8 base in the hopes that I will receive useful feedback.

This base is patterned off of a ragequit base that was posted on the forums a little while ago however, I am not able to find the original thread. When I took a look at it, I thought it might be a good base to modify to protect as much loot as possible. I have been using it in it's current configuration for about a week now.

Before people start to rip it apart, there are a few issues I am already aware of:

1) You walls suck. I'm a partial preemie and a brand new TH 8. Not a great combo. I am well aware of the suckiness of my walls, thank you.
2) Nearly all of your defenses need to be upgraded. Please see number 1 above.
3) It's not anti-anything. True, but it seems to be an unusual design. That alone can be enough to throw off an attack.
4) Where is your DE drill? Just have not built it yet. When I do, I have no idea where I am going to put it.
5) Get your fourth builder already, loser! I know, I have the gems. I just have not needed the builder yet.

So what I am looking for from this base is to protect resources, storages and collectors, as much as possible. I am using this as a farming base, the TH is shoved all the way in the southern corner. The Town Hall and CC are interchangeable.

I am building resources now, working to make upgrades, so I have been the victim of many more attacks. From the logs you can see that I lose elixer much more than gold. If elixer is worth more to you than gold, switch your storages around. Here are the most recent, non-TH snipe, logs:

Your gold storages are in a line, try to triangulate them.

IMO, not bad, not bad at all....

....gonna be tuff on barchers (I'd pass the base) --- of course, big 9s will strike the center but big 9s have their way with 8s much the same as 8s have their way with 7s.

I kind of figured 9's and 10's will be able to smash me :) Thank you for the feedback though.

I think you are too much scared of losing resources, you can't really protect them all especially against TH9s, and your TH is exposed so you don't need to worry that much about losing resources.

I'm not a big fan of the vault type with the gold storages. Would it be possible to switch a few with the elixir storage?

Also try to put your Archer Tower inside and try to make a pentagon shape with the other Towers.

You may want to have your Wizard Towers touch the storages. It deters a lot of Tier 1 troops.

It's pretty decent, but it can be steam rolled by TH 9 Giants but, hey, very few TH 8's can stand against TH 9 raids.

I realize I am going to lose some resources, especially to 9's and above, but I don't want to just give them away :)

As far as the TH goes, there are a lot of 'impolite' TH snipers out there so I don't want to make it to easy for them either.

Anything is possible :) I have the gold the way it is because it is more valuable to me than elixer right now.

Kind of like the screenshot below? I throws off the AD triangulation a little bit but, if it makes it seem more intimidating, then it might be worth it.

Depending on the quality of troops of course: Your CC is one of you best defenses, and you dont seem to be using it at all.
