I just finished my lvl 7 walls today at TH8. I'm wondering how you guys did it.
Farmed all at once? Keep one builder always open? Trophy count? How long did it take? Army strategy?
I'm a Barcher and I roughly make 6 million every day. My defenses are borderline maxed and I was wondering what I should do.

Im th9 and just finished farming legos, i did it in the 1600's. If you're th8 i would try 1450-1650. Use either giant/healer, barch or bam.
Tbh, I did my walls last and I only did 103 lvl 8 walls until I had enough and moved on to th9. Everything else was maxed and I am maxing all my weapons before touching my walls again. I loathe walls. Took 2-3 raids for one lvl8 wall
One builder, i did them during the march one gem boost so it took me 4 days haha

I did majority of mine at TH8. I do wish I'd done them all there as it took much longer at TH9 seeing as they give you more walls to build....that really was a pain.
If I was having a builder free in a few hours, I'd try and save an extra 2-3 mil on top of what I already had to get some walls done.
I did level 8,9 & 10 just using Barch, wont be doing 11s though.

If you are making 6 mill a day you will get those walls in no time. Sounds like what you do now is working well.
For me, since you asked, I used 8 giants, 8 wb, rest arch and gobs. On every raid, i tried not to use my Giants and WB unless getting to core was worth it or for distraction units when trying to get more resources. I also TH sniped in order to stay in a certain range. The game has changed dramatically since I farmed lvl 8 walls though. We are talking back in November when I did this and i was Gold 3.
Now, I would recommend barch and i would hang out in Gold 1-Crystal 3. Good luck fellow forumer!
I dont always farm, but when i do i farm at 2500 cups and above loonions attacks

Hey, I have 15 skulls to finish and I was lucky to get a 10$ Itunes card off one of those site/apps where you earn them so I have boosted a few times. When not boosting I would use barch. If offline for a while I would train mass dragon. If boosting BAG all the way. It splits so you have 3 sets of troops so they can take splash better, and it is better for storage raiding than barch. While upgrading defense, i used giant healer raids hunting for 300k in gold or higher. When all but one builder was left, I would dump gold into walls. Once my defenses were maxed, I continued giant healer bit focused on DE. I would dump gold everytime I was at 500k. I didn't pay attention. Now that I'm done with DE, for now, I switched to barching to focus on elixer upgrades like barracks. While doing that, again, dumping gold into walls once at 500k
dont pay attention to walls and it won't be so bad. Im at 164 skulls as of this morning and I just started TH9 upgrade.
At 6 mil per day it won't take you very long to max skulls. You have 2 options depending on how many upgrades you have left. One is to stagger your builders so you have one come open every day and upgrade walls when thst builder becomes available or you can leave a builder open.
I always found 1600 to be the best place to farm as a th8. You can find gold and a decent amount of DE in that range.
A better plan would have been to upgrade your walls as you progresses im th8. I was done with walls a month b4 my defenses were done and it made the game much more fun without having to grind gold for walls.
I finish farming lvl 8 walls like a month ago. It took me like 2 months.
I make between 2m-4m a day so thats about 4x-8x lvl8 walls per day depending on how loot is for the 2 hours i play. but i also only do walls when i only have 1 builder available.
I do walls while im doing elixer upgrades like army camps, barracks etc so i would have like 90% of my walls done by the time I hit upgrade on my townhall and those days it takes to finish th upgrade i do the rest of the walls and have my builders do collector upgrades and barrack upgrades and then fill all my storaes with loot by the time the tonwhall is finished i have full loot to start big upgrades at the new townhall level and get those new walls up to a decent level.
I just finished upgrading them all to level 7 and I'm just gonne barch for level 8 and 9 for sure, maybe change strategy after that..
I did it last summer and loot is nowhere near it's former glory. However, I kept 1 builder open while keeping the other 4 busy at all times. I was netting 8m a day with a 20 minute army. Too stubborn to use BAM back then... I coulda done them soooo much faster. Anywho, just farm around gold IIIish since you are TH 8, and you should be able to get 600k-1m an hour depending on your efficiency. So probably 2 walls an hour if all goes well. Good luck man.

Im th9 and i don`t care at all. The most ridiculously expensive thing is upgrading walls for sure. Just finish the area covering center, ignore others if you have at least level7 walls outside

I have kept 5 builders going 24/7 since I started playing early this year. I've almost finished maxing out my TH8 at this point; walls and DE troop upgrades (golem and minions) are all that I have left to do. I've been very successful using pure archers at Gold II/III, but started mixing in barbarians after the update, since they seem to break into bases more successfully now. Three builders are finishing my tesla upgrades, and one is finishing a final barracks upgrade; the fifth is now sleeping, so I spend gold as fast as I can on walls.
There's no specific strategy for walls in particular... all it really takes is a lot of time and patience with a good farming strategy.
I space my builders out to one a day, and usually get a maxed 6 mil storage. I then drop money on walls and have enough left over to start next construction. I BAM with two barracks boosts. Works great, 2.5-3 gph usually is a good day.
Im famring for gold at crystal as th8. i usually try to get about 10 walls everytime an upgrade is done then start the next major upgrade and repeat

I'll echo what a lot of others have already said: keep one builder open and dump excess gold into walls.
I'm at TH9 and in the process of maxing my DE drills/Storage, maxing dark barracks and finishing up normal barracks, so most of my upgrades right now are all elixir upgrades. So as I build up a few mil in elixir for an upgrade I'll accrue a few mil in gold as well, I'll dump all the gold into the walls then start the elixir upgrade. Rinse and repeat. I didn't have much time the other night to farm, only did one 2 hr boosted session with BARCH in Gold 2 and another hourish non-boosted with BARCH and got about 10 skulls done, so I anticipate being done with skulls in about a month, maybe less.

I upped all defences 1st then did walls for th8 and 9. I wish I wuda chipped away at walls for th9 tho.
I grinded 100 L8 walls in 5 days keeping 1 builder available.
I grinded mine pretty fast during my upgrading by maxing my gold storage as soon as i could so i tried to keep my storage full and everytime i had an upgrade finising i dumped every excess gold in the wall. I will have maxed my th8 in about 3 month i started playing mid november been th8 since 1st febuary
And should finish th8 around end of april.
All I can just say is BARCH!!
I kept 1 builder idle, when i started with long upgrades like teslas and ADs...in that time you can farm quite a lot, with boosted barracks even faster. If you have upgrades that takes less time..boost barracks and make about 7M gold(full cc) before your upgrade completed and throw 75% into walls...leave some gold for next upgrade. It was quite stressful tbh :smirk:
I farmed with the BAM strategy.
Sadly, I did them at the end of my TH8 journey. I wish I would have done them in the meantime and left one builder up all the time to do walls.
