[TH 10] Trophy pushing insanity

I'm currently at 2808 trophies. Pushing to champ.
Here's the problem: I'm not making ANY progress whatsoever.

I win almost all of my raids. I use barch for 50% and I get 10-11 trophies per raid.
I lose them right back through defense.

I have not won a SINGLE defense ever since I hit masters III.

I need serious help. I need tips. I need a good TH 10 base that is anti-gowipe / gowiwi. I really need a base that holds up in high levels.

I can't take it anymore. Currently I'm not even raiding. I feel like raiding now is not even worth it, since I'll just lose them right back after someone attacks me.

It's @noteworthygames ' base. It's just not working out.

You should do a 6 hours straight attacking. That's way you'll get many trophies that's the trophies you'll lose from defense won't matter.

But wouldn't that require gems to boost heroes/barracks/spell factory? Is it worth it to buy gems for that?

Sadly, after getting so far into the game youre competing with people who are willing to throw paychecks at this game, so you either have to do the same or you wont ever get as far as them. Sad world, but CoC has done a pretty good job at not making it such a pay-to-play game as you can get pretty far and have a couple months and even years of fun without the need to spend cash. From what I heard (only pushed up to masters), you'll need to at least gem spell factory. And I think its the only thing you need to boost afaik, since it takes 20 minutes to train barch and heroes most of the time aren't get hit that bad.

Yes, all you need is spells spells and more spells when barching as heroes are mostly used for cleanup.

As a TH10, you should be making much more progress than any other TH despite how upgraded your defenses are. BARCH as a TH10 should be cake, and I should know since I am a TH9 Barching and it's easy for me. I don't play for more than 4 hours a day and am making pretty fast progress to get myself back into Champs again.

Tbh, the problem isn't how upgraded your defenses are. Yes, upgraded defenses will do much better, but as long as you have the right design, it will help you. You seem to have decent upgrades as a TH10, which can still hold up against most armies, except maybe Loonion and GOWIPE/GOWIWI since those kinds of attacks are tough to defend all the time.

Let's not forget you have your Xbows upgrading which is crucial to the DPS in the core.

So I notice you have base Landon (NoteworthyGame's), in which it is an awful design itself. It's too easy and basically a straight path to the core and easy pickings for any army comp. Which you can probably see, seeing that you got beat by a farming composition of Gaints + Gobs + BARCH in your def log.

So find a TH10 base. PREFERABLY NOT on YouTube, cause all these "mainstream" YouTubers (except some) are scams when they show their base builds calling it the "best" or the "ultimate" design when in reality, it's a piece of sh*t. Look on the forums of bases that have popularity, bases you see common while searching, or top player bases, OR better yet, make your own base.

Making a base is fun. Implement tricky AI diversions and funneling on your base that will change a players initial plans. Plus, by making your own base, it is something an attacker has never seen before making them have to think twice before attacking you and unsure how to attack it.

Noone said making Champs was easy. Put the effort and time into it and it will repay you.

Don't count on defense wins at all, I've been champ for like 6 weeks now And haven't won a single defense, the key is to stay logged in while you are cooking so you can't be raided. For safe progress I'd say only hit bases with 27 trophies available if you only plan to 1* and get at least 5-6 raids in a night, of course the faster you wanna progress the more you should raid whether that be through gemming or longer sessions.

I've never made my own base before and I don't really know how to. I'll just have a look at a few top players' bases and copy one of them.

Put your th outside your base you would lose barely any trophies and your loot would hardly get stolen.
