Mere and simple: Let there be a button to turn on global. If you don't activate it, it will stay off.
Reasons:
- I, and I think most people, barely get in global.
- I'm not gonna pay 3G to hear some immature people speaking.
- I feel like the game experience would be better if it isn't trying to load the chats of other people who are never gonna be quiet.
Let me know your thoughts.

Why don't you.... Ya know... Not click on global. Problem solved.
People still have 3G networks? And if your data plan is so sensitive that the miniscule amounts of data from chats will cause your phone bill to increase, you need a new service provider.

And I find really interesting peeps to talk to on global. It's a bit quiet sometimes though lol. I guess those kids are talking at each other, or demanding that I join their clan, or demanding that I stop helping peeps on global, bc it offends them. But I can't see them. It's magic.
