Level 8 walls worth it?

Ok. So I'm wondering if it is worth it to do my level 8 walls.

This took about 300 mil GG and about half a year of farming, no boost. For the new walls it would be 100 million more! At that rate it would be like 2 months for those lame walls. I could boost but that gets really boring when using barch cuz I literally have to sit on my ipad and raid every 5 minutes. Plus, these walls can still be destroyed by 2 WBs lvl 5. This really feels like a WASTE of gold. Also, hogs, jump spells and flying units can completely ignore my walls.... So basically I want to know if investing in walls is worth it in the long run. (Doesn't seem that way now)

If you were a th8 I would say screw those level 8 walls.

However you are a TH9 so I would say you kinda have to do it because otherwise it makes you look like a noob.

Why not? You have to do them eventually anyway, as it takes 3 max breakers to break lvl 11 walls, 4 if they're lvl 5 so it definitely makes a difference in higher lvl play. Most won't even get past the first layer or two anyway without the use of jump.

By not doing them it just means you'll have that many more to double (or triple) upgrade your next TH, and being you are already pretty high, and are already lacking a bit on the wall side, I'd say it needs to be done. Unless you're planning on sticking with lvl 7 walls as a TH10 which I wouldn't recommend.

Hmm, why not.
Because I hate grinding for something useless, idk. Also, they will take me like 2 months, and I know they will be useful if I get level 9, but that will take so long. I don't know if I will quit because of wall depression or something. It's a hard descision, especially when I think that it will take 2 long months for level 8 walls...

Hardly useless as walls make quite a difference, and especially in higher lvl play. Bottom line is everything is going to be a long grind now as everything is becoming increasingly more expensive and time consuming to upgrade…..and especially trying to max out at TH10. Personally, I wouldn't want to worry about upgrading walls 4+ lvls at TH10 on top of everything else that needs to be done, but again it's your call... or you're just gonna be a TH10 with crappy walls.

Grinding/upgrading is part of the game. It's meant to take awhile….though I fail to see how maxing lvl 8 walls will take 2+ months, unless you just don't play much. Even if you manage to do a measly 4 walls a day that's still under 2 months, not even considering barracks boosts which should net you more than a couple mil easy with BARCH in 2 hrs or less per boost.

Go ahead and upgrade to 10 if you feel you can't stand it though I suppose.

This. 100%.

Yes they are worth it.

I say yes. It's totally worth it. There's a reason their so expensive. They help a lot and slow down the enemy.

Walls Level and HP
7 = 2,500
8 = 3,000
9 = 4,000
10 = 5,500

lv.8 walls just have 500 more HP than lv.7 walls. It looks ugly too...
lv.9 walls have 1500 more HP than lv.7 walls... and it looks so cool
lv.10 walls have more than twice lv.7 HP, it's very tough and hard to destroy especially after nerfed BK

nope... either have lv.10 or lv.9 walls or stay on lv.7
