Help with base design for th9 wanted, especially walls and funneling
After the update there have been more possibilities for base designs. Before you needed an anti hog base which basically meant middle ring without defences, double big bombs and unlurable cc. That made all good th9 bases look pretty much the same and I never saw the point in making my own.
Now however, its a lot less weighted towards one specific army comp and you can make a base fairly anti hog without all of those features. In war, mass drag have also become a more important army to be able to defend against it seems.
This has gotten my creativeness going and I have created a war/trophy base that is meant to be anti mass drag. Obviously I want the base to work well against other armies as well (preferably defend against everything :rolleyes:) and here it gets a bit tricky.
I am in the process of testing and tweaking which ofc is made harder from not being able affect what ppl hit me with and how (at least not in any way that Im prepared to do). I feel that I have got the air troops down pretty well myself and also anti hog features, but what I am really not that good with is giants/golems and wallbreakers. I know there are creative ways of putting walls to trick the AI to go where you want and not where the attacker want (ie core). These features are not something I am good with at all unfortunately.
As things stands I am not ready to post my design here on the forums yet, since I feel there are some bigger changes needed and it is so untested. Might turn out to be a dreadful idea start to finish and I have to start over completely. If posting here I would want a design I can be proud of with mostly minor tweaks needed.
Therefor I am wondering if there is someone who is good at base design, specifically wall placement, funneling and tricking giants/golems/wbs who would be willing to help me out by looking at my design and discussing different possibilities. Even if this design doesn't work out it would be cool to learn a bit more about those things.
