GOWIPE at th8?

So I was wondering if anyone would recommend using GOWIPE as a strategy in wars?
I see people using it but I was just wondering whether this works with level 1 golems?
I'm at th8 right now and I have all my other troops, for this comp, maxed, except my golems.

It works great if you have lvl 3 pekkas, even with just lvl 1 golem. It would be much easier with the golem a higher level, but the pekkas are going to wreck everything regardless. I'm not TH8 anymore, but Gowipe was the only way I would ever attack in war when I was and it worked fantastic. It's a sure 2 star if you do it right, easy 3 star on some weaker bases.

I would consider using it except it is way to expensive of an army.

One more question, what spells? I was thinking 2 rages + 1 heal?

Maybe 2 Rage and 1 Lightning for CC troops

I use just WiPe (no golems) and I've had pretty good success with it. Guaranteed 2 star, occasional 3 star. Would be pretty good with lvl 3 pekkas. Mine are only level 2

Personally, I prefer GIWIPE, where you just substitute giants in for golems. I use 2 rage and 1 healing spell.

I have used this combo for late TH8 and early TH9.

2 Golems, 2 Pekkas, Wiz and Bombers. CC use 2 witches. My strategy was golem tank, Pekka and King as secondary tanky DPS, wiz followed. Depends on your Golem and Pekka level. You can clear most TH8s and early TH9s. 2 Star any TH9 or early TH10s.


Its not bad strategy. Only problem is you need someone support you witch. Better be level 2. They are so great in golem combo.
