I don't really know myself, I always seem to bring to many barbarians in my variants. I know that Clash with Cam bring a sh!t ton of archers in his version, but I need exact numbers here. Thanks.

Dunno about ideal but 135 goblins is working fine for me
Wow th5 if you have 150 troops space go with 80 barbs and 70 archers.

you need to figure out which is best for how you raid.
I usually throw in some WBs to the party too..6-8, in case I see higher level walls, or some storages in the 2nd layer or in the core..

I generally used 3 rax archers and last rax goblins and it worked out pretty well around TH5-7 (both for keeping up trophies and for getting loot). I kept a few wallbreakers on the side in case I wanted to get deeper storages and send the gobs in.
I have a BARCH video that maintains trophies if you want to see, but it's for higher TH. Same principles apply tho.
