As people have said upgrade defenses if you want to stop other th9 or th10s. You are th7-8 with your defenses so there is nothing you can do to stop them if they want to dump their entire army on your base.
I suggest:
1. keep 1 builder free and dump all excess loot into walls.
2. Drop down to g3. Less th9-10s. Farm as much as you can until your troops are th9 levels. Then slowly work your way back up to g2-g1.
Lol buddy this thread reminds me of my first days upgrading to TH8.
Whenever my shield drops some TH9 with level 6 giants came out of nowhere and took 300k gold and 300k elixir. One day it happened three times and that's 1.8 million + DE.
IMHO it doesn't really matter what level your point defense is or your layout is. Any decent TH10 could've wiped an early TH9 clean, even if you have maxed TH8 defenses and walls. Best way to prevent being raided is like everyone here said, put your TH outside, go to G3, play in sessions, and pray that you got sniped.
Remember, a good farmer always raid more after what of his/her is taken.
