Can the average player max out TH9 in less than one year?

People like to exaggerate a lot here..

5m gold per day is a tall order for th9 farming let alone 8m..

Minus off the search cost, inability to captured all resources from resolute defending and losses incurred from people attacking you - it all added up.

Saying that the average player plays 2-3 hrs a day, the walls would become too overwhelming. The defenses could be maxed though! :)

I agree. This is exactly how I play. Every new and then I will pay special attention to walls. Just maxed out cannons and mortars and in between maxing archer towers I'm focusing on level 7 walls. Which takes forever.

For sure, it's been 6 months for me (mostly with with 3 workers but 5 now), and i'm level 84. A clan member is the same level as I, and he started 4 months ago (started with 5 workers). I see myself maxing in another 2-3 months (depends on new updates).

If you don't spend 10h/day or more, then you must be referring to something similar to sub-zero farming where you spend a few goblins to about half of your camp troops per raid on abandoned bases' collectors. But this is usually easier for non-th 9 bases. Ex 2 is also mainly non-th 9s, unless you are one of the elders there. But I notice your account was formed in Feb, and this is your first post. Would you like to share with us how you can achieve 5m+ without spending more than 10h/day? I'm sure this will help boost your clan's prestige immensely if you can provide some concrete evidence. Whatever he is claiming is so 5 months back. Raiding 5 mil in 10 hours as a TH9 is a myth nowadays with all the new updates/troops/defenses/buildings. I don't believe this ♥♥ unless you make a 10 hour video recording of it.

But he's from the Ex clans, surely with their godly farming skills they can farm 50,000,000 DE within 2 days!!!

Just teasing, no offense. Maybe a little, but it's probably on the joking side of it.

I personally think it's IMPOSSIBLE to no gem max out a base unless you started early on after release. I'll say October 2012 and earlier. With constant updates and extremely long upgrade times late game , I just don't think it's possible.
