Can the average player max out TH9 in less than one year?

At 3m gold per L10 wall, I say that it is not possible...most people can barely loot 3m per day...so even excluding all defence upgrades and L9 walls, it would take the best part of one year solid playing just to do L10 walls...

So with that said, is TH10 going to come?

For:

The gemmers are probably getting bored

People prematurely jumping up to TH10 would finally give the average, solid TH9 player a target with a LOOT BONUS!! Would be nice to not just see penalties every battle huh?! lol

Against:

Everyone else is no where near maxing out TH9...Well, I dont think they are, hence my question...what do you guys think?

I have a long way to go at TH9 but do at least have all skull walls with a couple of L9 / L10 blocks...Still have millions to spend on defences as well...

Nope the average player cannot max out at TH9 this year.

A hard core farmer can max out though :)

What about a softcore farmer?

So, what does a hard core farmer loot per day...do you think?

I would say yeah, pretty close to it at least. Just depends on your definition of an average player. I consider myself average. I play everyday but really no more than an hour total or so. It's split up throughout the day. Maybe 5 raids a day during the week, 1 in the AM, 1 at lunch and then a few in the evening. On the weekends I maybe get 8-10 raids in a day. I've spent a total of $30 on the game. I started pretty much at the end of July and am just about maxed out on TH8. So, Id say I will likely be just about maxed on TH9 by the end of July this year (probably not walls). The game does not consume my life and I haven't really spent much on gems so id say that pretty average.

8million+. If you do the math then maxing level 9 and 10 walls would take about 4 months.

8m per day?! Are you serious...?

If I do nothing but play CoC all day I might make 6m if the loot is particularly good (a few 300k raids but mostly 200k) but to average that every day solid for a month (and longer) is not possible, never mind 8m per day, every day...

I'm not sure I can believe that number unless you know of a place to raid with a farming army and clean 1m+ gold net profit every hour...Highly unlikely (even zero farming was not this good)

I am including maxing walls in my definition of maxing out TH9. The walls are clearly the money sink with L10 costing 750m - to go from L8 walls to L10 walls would cost 1bn gold which is of course more than you will have spent on your entire upgrades so far in the game! To put that into perspective, its taken you since July to get to where you are today and yet you need to loot all that gold and then some to complete L10 walls....

It is actually very easy to max the defences - would just take a couple of months of constant upgrades.

Well we're talking about hardcore farmers so they play CoC all day. I'm just saying if you play everyday and farm 8million then it's possible to get level 9 and 10 walls in 4 months which in your question is possible to max out TH9.

Average player shouldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about maxing walls. First max your defenses and everything else while keeping walls at where it takes at least 2 wallbreakers to break through.

By then, upgrading only walls would get incredibly boring and you'll quit. But not really - SC knows that people play for continuous upgrading, so they'll just keep adding stuff and get you more stuff to do.
