Am i good to go?

Okay so recently I've been trophy pushing as a town hall 9, and it's utterly horrible. I got up to around 3000 trophies and the second I logged off I would get murdered. I know there are TH9's that can get up to 3800, but they are spending endless amounts of money to gem so that they can raid for 6 hour sessions and not have to log off. My TH10 clan mates, including one at around 3600, have posted replays of winning defenses. I feel that inferno towers would help immensely. Would it be a bad decision to upgrade a bit early? I have maxed farming troops,. All the troops I push with (Loons,Minions,Spells) are maxed. Wiz towers, mortars, camps maxed. Xbows level 2, almost full skull walls. Air Defense only maxed for TH8. So would it be a bad idea to move on? Comment please
