Th9 Clan Wars Base "Sucker Punch"

now i use this base
First war and 0 atk :D

Liking the logs for this base layout ill definitely try this out for my next war on Friday. I'll let you know how it stands in war. I got th9 a few days ago from a maxed th8 so hopefully everything goes out fairly well!

I'm a fresh TH9 and I just used this base in a war and had 3 Defends and one 1 Star. Very impressed. A good player could probably get 2 stars on this base but the lure here is to use Hogs because it doesn't have any Double GBs, but two of the attacks that failed against me were hog attacks, one was all dragons and the one that got 1 star was Giants.

A good gowipe or gowiwi attack would 2 star this, but getting the 3rd would be tough.

Very glad to hear this base design works well on new TH9's, thanks for testing it out!

I am optimistic that it will do well against good attackers, however i dont seem to be in the right position to go against really good atackers.

I know exactly how i would set-up the TH10 version of this, i could explain where to add the new toys. I am working on getting somone in my clan to test a TH10 version.

Nice to hear that this held out well (I'm also a fresh TH9). I'll also try this base out for our war today. :)

I guess I'll give it a shot next war. :-)

How does it do against mass drag?

Most of my clan war defenses have been 1-2 star against mass drags. I have tried 3-4 bases. I need a new base :(

Well it worked. I suckered a TH8 into thinking he could mass drag it. 34% 0 stars later he realized he had been punched.

Other clan still has some attacks left so I'm looking for some heavier attacks

No screenies for my most recent war because of maintance break, but the results where 4 attacks. 3 1Stars and 1 0star. What I love most about this base is the # of attacks it causes the other clan to waste. In a close war, that is 4 attacks that my base is using up with hardly any benifit. Even if the 4th or 5th guy 2 or 3 stars me, that's still a win for me due to so many failed attacks.

So far in 3 wars I've had:

1 2star
4 1star
5 0star

And this is with a new TH9 getting hit mostly by TH 10's.
