Th9 Clan Wars Base "Sucker Punch"

I had the same thing happen to me. I got 3 starred by hogs with my first attack in the first war after the switch. He deployed from 2 spots in the north, dropped heals over the GB locations and away they went.

Since then, I have switched the two center teslas under the TH for GB's from the North. On the second war, I got 2-starred right off the bat by a trashbag attack from the south. He didn't even use the AQ on that attack. It was a TH10, though.

Overall, I have seen some fails on the base, but it isn't enough to justify the switch. I saw the same number of fails on my old home-made design.

Hmm... It looks like maxed bloonionion could get the th if they attacked from the south fairly easily. Having the ad's together makes for a lot of firepower but risks them all getting taken out at once.

This base is terrible. Let's see the replays of these attacks. Dudes using giants at th9 are garbage. Hogs kick the ♥♥♥♥ out of this

Lvl84 right? I am assuming your base upgrades are not maxed, the key to making this base work well is Teslas, XBows, and Air. Make those priority, also another trick if you keep getting hogged is what you put in your clancastle.

This might sound crazy but its been tested and proven to work.

Fill your clancastle with archers, then leave room for 5 goblins(lvl6 if possible) most people will draw out just the archers, and the goblins must really dislike hogs because they destroy them just as quick as wizards would.

This was the war where I had a chance to attack my own base design, however a clanmate beat me to it and he got suckered .

I think it can be easy 2 stared by the correct gowiwi performance.

If this base was easily 2 starred with GoWiWi why has it stopped the last 2 in a war setting where their is ample time to prepare?

The thing about this base is that it CAN be 2 and 3 starred by good players with the proper army comp. However, it attracts the attention of people who think that it's easier than it actually is rather than the big guns, and that's where it shines. Big gun says "I'll take somone higher up, you take this guy who has his TH near the edge." Or small gun says "I can easily take that guy, he's got his TH near the edge."

It's not that it CAN'T be 2 and 3 starred, it's that it doesn't often because of who is attacking it.
