TH10 Questions

Hello Everyone,

In 4 days, my last TH9 upgrade will be complete (cept walls, traps, and heroes). I was a very preemie TH9, so I am currently working on finishing skull walls. My AQ is 16 and my BK is 15. All my elixer lab upgrades are done. Minions, hogs, and witches are max, and I am bringing up golems next.

My questions are, will skull walls be enough at TH10? I calculate that it will take me 4 months or so to get lvl 9's done. By then, I could have made decent progress on my TH10 defenses. Anyone have any experience to share?

Also, I am raiding in crystal 2 right now, balloonioning for 200k-350k per raid with no issues. I'm attacking TH9 and TH10 bases only. Is this good enough for TH10, given the nexting cost? Or will I be in trouble if I stay at C2?

Level 8 is good enough. Just a question, how long did it take you to get Level 8 Walls?

I play casually (raid, log off, come back later, break shield and repeat), and get 4-5 skulls done per day. I did a lot of them in between defensive upgrades but am grinding out the remaining 70ish now.

Looks like I'm going to crystal 2 then. Update us if the loot are still good when you're TH10 :)

Haha, see you up here! FWIW, I was hanging around 2150 cups (pushed to 2200 for C2 bonus, then dropped) to get that kind of loot per raid. It seemed to get a bit dry down there so I pushed up to 2250-2300. Loot is much improved up here. So, if you head up this way, you may want to push a bit past the C2 threshold for best results.

Back to the original post though, any TH10's have any thoughts on the wall issue? I've read a few posts from earlier in the year where everyone said "walls don't matter cause of hogs" and suggested the OP go TH10 as opposed to finishing legos. With the hog nerf/bomb buff/whatever you want to label it, I'm wondering if walls are a bit more crucial now. 250 mil to finish walls, or 250 mil to upgrade TH10 defense? Anyone have experience on the matter? Has anyone farmed legos at TH10, after finishing defenses?

although legos are AWSOME i would say go th10. there are plenty of people who have gotten to champ (very clashers dream) without legos. plus i think better defenses will help you more than legos. but make sure to get skulls.

Thanks. I think I'm leaning towards finishing skulls, starting TH10 Upg, and getting a few legos done whole TH is under the hammer. I'll probably stop building walls 4-5 days before TH finishes and walk into TH10 with full storages. Should be able to get 20 or so legos done that way. I've been reading tons of threads, but a lot of the feedback is either old, or from people who aren't TH10 (no offense of course). I think at this point I'm just going to do what feels right.
