Just got my TH9. What should I focus on? - I mean which units should I upgrade in my lab FOR CLAN WARS.
Actually I play mass dragons lvl3 since TH8, but I'm looking for some new/alternative attack strategy.

At TH9 with level 6 balloons and 4 spells it should be even easier.
It's a good time to start practicing GoWiPe and GoWiWi(heavy hero requirement i think).
GoWiPe is good place to start.
But don't practice during clan wars lol. Practice on normal attacks.
For war you should focus on maybe gowiwi or gowipe they can both 3 star decent players where as balloons and minions is mostly a 1/2 star strategy
As an early th9 too (1.5 months) with low level Gowipe and Gowiwi, I used hogs. Now I use mainly dragons and upgrading my gowiwi army, but it'll take time.
Dragons should be able to give you atleast 2 stars against almost any th9s and even some premmie th10s.

Dragon/Balloon is a decent way to win Clan Wars.

Mass drag is the only thing we have left until you get decent troop levels for GoWiPe or GoWiWi.
You can still use hogs against poorly designed bases, but they are very situational.
I'm still using hogs....but now a slightly different approach
Previously using 26 hogs....how its 32 hogs....and I usually release a few hogs at suspected giant bombs before sending the whole group in.
Still upgrading my Valks...until then Hogs will do
I would say upgrade Giants/bloons first. They are useful for raiding and for clan wars.
I tend to like PEKKAs/wizards. It always guarantees me at least a 2 star and occasionally a 3 star depending on the base.

Do you have max hogs? And can you post the bases from clan wars that you have been hitting? I only have lvl 4 hogs so I have been sticking with heavy ground attack just deciding if I want to upgrade hogs next.Quote:
