Using PEKKAS in TH8

I have only one valuable tip when using PEKKAs-

Make sure that you have cleared EVERY SINGLE BUILDING right down to the flower patch/torch to be sure before deploying them where u want them to head. Else they would just tour a merry-go-round instead of heading into the enemy's base to wreck everything. And a rage or two could help speed things up. :rolleyes:

Having an excess of elixir in TH8, I decided to try Pekka with GoWiPe strategy in recent Clan War:
- 1x Golem L1
- 4x Pekka L3
- 9x WB L5
- 13x Wizards L5
- 3x rage L5
- King L10
- clan castle 1x dragon L3 and few archers

Enemy: mid-TH9 defense buildings
But wall is L6 (pink)
cc defense is L3 dragon

When it work correctly, all enter straight into the core and raged. But my TH8 with 200 army camp just lack few more spaces and only manage 97% (2 stars)

Not sure what happened, I didn't lure cc. Enemy dragon is gone with 10x wizard in rage.
Then, enemy King was gone either by Pekka or 10x wizard in rage.
Enter the core, TH9 gone in single w♥♥♥♥ by 4x Pekka each under rage.
AQ snipe my Pekka and they rage towards her, also single w♥♥♥♥ by each Pekka and gone.
Pekka + King clean up the core (2x xbow, etc.), 2nd and 3rd layer.

Use my cc dragon and 3x wiz to clean up the outer surroundings, but left an Archer tower which kill all my leftover army.

All in all, I say is a success from my first try after learning and watching videos. :o

I use GiWiPe. Cheaper for TH8 as 450DE is a lot of resources to use in one fight.

Ive added Pekka to my usual army makeup and its working out.

If gold mines and Collectors are lined up outside the walls, I'll breach the walls with wall budgets, send in a few giants, then drop PEKKA to clear out the gold mines and collectors send everything else into the core of the base.

If I'm looking at needing a core breach attack, take the advice above...clear out everything from that side, including any corner builder huts. Then send in PEKKA to follow behind the giants ( with wizards is very effective, especially protecting against Teslas) and hit with a rage.
