In India there are lots of users of windows phone....i think supercell will be benifited if it releases clash of clans on windows..
Leading games like angry birds as well as candy crush also have been on windows...why wouldn't clash of clans???

They target growing markets like India and South America. Nokia Windows Phones are cheap, really cheap and they work fantastic. But Windows Phone is still basically nothing compared to the Androids and iPhones in the world which makes it unprofitable for Supercell to spend the time and money to rewrite the game for WP when they aren't going to get much profit out of it.

However I think at some point, Supercell will have to launch COC on Windows but not very in the near future. Windows Phone is still a growing platform. Remember how long it took for them to get from iOS to Android.

Yes but not enough for Supercell. WP only has 2.9% of the total worldwide phone marketshare.
The reason those games are on WP is because they are a lot easier to develop then COC. Clash of Clans also requires a redesigning of how the servers work to communicate with the device and how the device would log on to the Supercell network.

Supercell would have to spend copious amounts of $$$ to develop and test a version for Windows Phone and they wouldn't get a return large enough to make a nice profit.

Now may a mod PLEASE close this, too many people necroing this thread

This is SOOOO wrong. The MODS keep yelling at us to search for old threads BEFORE creating new ones. Will you people make up your minds? Do you want others to post 50 repeat threads or search for old ones and add to them?
