Highly active th8 advice

Hello, it's my first time posting on here but I've been playing clash for a while now. I'm looking for some advice. I'm a heavy duty player, playing from anywhere from 4 to 10 hours a day. I've been th8 for about a month now and I'm getting pretty bored waiting for stuff to upgrade. I farm quite a bit and have 4 builders working non stop using the fifth to pour my excess gold into my walls.

Onto my issues. I'm having trouble farming. I try to use fast troop builds, barch or bam so I can farm often. But it takes more time to find a good base to attack than it does to train. I've tried trophy ranges from 1400 to 1800 with archers and barbs at 5 and lvl 2 minions. I feel like I should be doing a lot better than maybe 500k gold and elixir in a good hour and on a good day 2 mil of each.

Next. I want to go to lvl 9. My walls are half dark purple and my mortars are 5 towers are 3. They're taking first priority but I only do 1 at a time cause I'll get wrecked without them. With how often I play is level 9 such a bad idea so early so I can upgrade my two main farming troops?

Finally, does anyone have any advice on farming dark elixir? I'm trying to upgrade my minions and barb kink but getting dark elixir is taking so much effort and I can't seem to find a great guide for a th8.

I upgraded to 9 with level 6 walls and level 5 mortars. As long as you can make at least 1 m gold a day, you'll do fine. To get dark elixir in good amount, you need a higher league, like stay at crystal league.

I'm good with staying around gold 1 but here and there I gotta farm up trophies to keep it.

Any tips for doing good in Crystal?

There are a good amount of villages with level 7-8 town hall you can farm in crystal. Look for inactive ones. Also remember that league bonus starts getting good at crystal league, so try to get at least 1 star for every raid.

Is that wizard towers are 3? Do not go up until they are 6. Get all your defences upgraded to where they can one shot level 5 archers as they are basically the mainstay of the farming army.

Ok, if being as active as you say here is my advice:

When you have finished walls (since it doesnt have build time, active farmers tend to get those up before defences) and splash and possibly barb king (or at least got him decent lvl) go to th9.

Regarding farming I found gold II best for th8, I used barch for collector raids. Different times of day and week loot is different. Late american night is usually decent and weekdays better than weekends. When loot is good, boost barracks and farm hard, look for full collectors with 200k+ gold. If loot is worse go for 120k+ gold perhaps and go easy on boosting. If doing that for 6+ hours a day DE wont be an issue. However if you want to specifically look for DE you want gold I or crystal III and bring some giants with your barch to get to DE storages that are behind a wall.

Max your gold before every free builder; spend excess on walls and do the most expensive upgrades first. That is what I did. You should have no problem maxing your gold between builders if you time them so they don't finish on the same days.

I've been farming in crystal 3 and I'm getting 750k gold per hour and well over 10k de per day just from barch.
