Is TH8 really that bad?

Besides my walls that are currently being upgraded to lvl8 everything else is pretty much max lvl and I'm still getting steamrolled by anything and everything that comes knocking at my door.

Golems make my base a love nest
Hogs play patty cake with my defenses
Air raids drop bows on me

No matter what kind of base design I have it feels like I'm being systematically (insert word here).

Just waiting on my teslas to finish and I'm moving on to TH9 next week...maybe with time my booty hole will heal from all the butt kicking I've gotten.

Town Hall 8 is like a base in ♥♥♥♥rty. Starting to get good, but you can still get kicked around by the "adults"

Th 8 is a good level of th, you just need to make sure your cc troops are ready and same with your barb king. Also keep looking for a base you like!

It will happen at TH9 too! May as well go straight to TH10 😎

What is your trophy range?

I'm loving TH8 and I normally sit in gold II

Its the start of you base looking awesome

Th8 is very vulnerable....Easy loot for th9 with giants or loons

The loot is fantastic. But I'd look at different bases. And pick an original base that makes it hard to lure the cc. If you copy and paste a popular base the attacker will know how to steal your loot

Town hall 9 is when you start being able to actually hold reasonably safely, but hard times should be behind you.

I'm a TH8 farming around Gold III, everything is fine for me.

This is possibly the best way you can describe Th8 :) clever

I used to be steamrolled when I was premie, but now that I've maxed Mortars, upgraded cannons, upgraded Air Defenses, and generally got my walls past noobiness, I don't get hit by th9 that often, even in 2000+ range. Is your th outside?

I mean... Town hall 8 isnt really bad it was the exact same to me as Town hall 7 but with more "features" alot of people say you will get more loot stolen and get raided more but that wasn't for me when my th 8 was almost maxed I was finding 400k loot raids and hardly got raided in about 1400+ Trophies You do become more pro because obviously you only have 2 more Town Hall's but in my experience its was better then town hall 7!

In Silver 1 no one will touch your TH 8 village.

Yeah but loot there is so bad.. When I upgraded from TH 7 to 8 in silver 1, I could only find 10K-20K raids. I recommend gold 3 or 2 with your TH outside

TH8 is great, you could still get good amounts of loot on TH7 and you only have to target Two Gold Storage (for BARCHing & if you're only after Gold). You have 3 storages for each resource *except DE* to make it hard for attackers to figure out where they should deploy their troops, unless they are in a single compartment.

TH 8 is a great farming base. You have the troop capacity to attack batch th 9 and 10 bases to get great loot but you will get revenged and steam rolled. I am TH 9 and I admit I love seeing a th 8 when I press the revenge. Easy 3 stars.
