I read on here that under 200 trophies is a good place to farm, but don't want to drop over 1000 trophies to find out there's no resources down there... Anyone mind letting me know what it's like down there?

I hated sub-200. Try it out if you want, but I would strongly suggest you don't.
Dont do it! As soon as you sign out you gain about 400 trophies from people trying to lower their trophies, its a nightmare even though there are some goid raids there.
It's great, but only if you can be on for at least 4 hours straight:(
Not a fan either. It's a whole lot of effort for not much more loot. People who play long sessions can make it work, but it's just a nightmare if you log on and off all the time.
Probably not worth the trouble to drop trophies to check it out.
Besides, with the new league system coming soon you will probably want those trophies back for the potential loot bonus.

Yeah I maxed my storages in 3-4 hours down there (4/4 million) but you can NEVER let your screen go black.
And dont go for the big loots, thake the small ones with minimum 10k per troop and you can attack like 10-15 times on the same army. Its really boring though and extremly annoying to drop since they fixed the dropglitch so I dont do it.

its a time commitment. (be prepared to skip a lot of loot-penalty bases.)
but its fast/easy resource for the most part. which is why ppl go down in the first place.
Use Shield Time Wisely when granted a shield. if yo dont have time to farm then sit in the shield. so you dont have to climb down as far when you get dumpped again.
if you have/do other things you do while you train your troops (off the game things, other games, chores..) then its not for you. as the mentioned Troph dumppers never stop dropping to stay in the sweet spot. and you rarely get a shield, so if you have a big upgrade, but other things on the schedule besides CoC.. you stand a chance of getting looted by a BIG-Gun-Farmer with lvl5-6 troops..(plus there is practally no DE down there)
if you go.
*dont stop to count the change*.. gotta nibble on a few lower bases, then FEAST on the BIG'Ole'Loots. pick a minimum like 25k for one or each resource..what ever maths makes it worth the work..
its rather efficient if you have the time and patience as the R.O.I. is unmatched considering... but you must be locked to the i(Devise)Pad for at least 2-4 *or MORE* hrs (which can get tedious if you have any social life off-game; sub200 great in the crappy winter weather, but not so much in the spring..bike trail what?)
also know when to pass on good setups. just because they have 200-300k resources dont mean you need to end up on thier revenge list. (wink)
if you are below TH7 its pretty good, if you are above, maybe try a higher range, add 1K trophies then maybe another 2-5 hundred to find comfortable range.

I just climbed out as my barrack will be done tomorrow morning so (upgraded barrack to lvl9 and Tesla to lvl3 in a few days in sub land, and I work and cant play CoC 16+ hrs a day) now I can farm in normal ranges and log off to use the restroom and take out the trash and not get 150 trophs dumped on me with no shield.
You could do it for the achievement.

It's good but you need a lot of time. I've never been below 100 but 120-149 was always my sweet spot.
So what's the risk down there? That you will get loads of trophies dumped on you? Because I will do it if that is it but if there's a risk of getting hit hard and losing loads of resources then I won't do it
You don't get shielded. You may get hit hard and left without shield
Well of course there is that risk. But just dont attack the very highlvl bases and end up on there revengelist, dont let your screen go black and jump to 6-700 trophies at least as soon as you are done.Quote:
