Make hog-riders attack heroes first
I'm cool with nerfing hogs and increasing giant bombs damage. Those are good because hogs are really POWERFUL. But since the heroes cannot be lured out anymore, they act like a defense building, and hogs should treat them as defense and attack them first.
Th9 raiding are becoming 2 star air attacks. Whatever your th9 base layout is, balloonion+dragons, giant-wizards can EASILY 2star it. The new jump spell makes giant-wizards strategy even more easier but still only 2star. Seriously, these types of raidings have no skills involved. Just like hogging a NORMAL Th9 base. No skills.
I still use hogs after the update, but only against a normal th9 base. I dare not use hogs against an anti-hogs bases though. Not because of giants bombs' extra damage. It's because of the heroes. Especially high level queen. Although I can still get two stars easily, there is no point in using hogs anymore. If they are all the same 2stars, I'll stick with balloonion or giant-wizards since they're cheaper.
Before the update, I have to carefully design my base so that hogs can't 3 star me. After the update, I don't need to worry that much anymore. Just put in two heroes in the middle and you are good to go. The update takes away the fun of raiding an anti-hogs bases and designing an anti-hogs base. I would say designing an anti-hogs base was the most challenging task in clash of clans.
I hope Supercell could change the hog-riders preferred targets a little bit so that hogs can be useful again. Right now, my clan war has been, balloonion, dragons, wizard-giants. Really, no skills! I want the fun of raiding an anti-hogs bases with hogs again!!
