I was thinking what if all the AI was fixed to be perfect.
I think everyone would hope that the AI would be perfect, and that when they dropped their troops, evry troop did exactly what people expected of them, but I think that would get rid of most of the fun of the game. I think part of the game is mastering the dumb AI and the other imperfections of the game, that's where some of the "skill" comes into play. So I think although the idea of it would be nice, I think it would wear off pretty quickly and people would complain that the game gets boring. So the imperfections in this game is was makes this game fun and exciting, because you don't know what they're going to do next and when you think you know, you're usually wrong.
I dont know much about developing games, but do they consciously think about this? Like lets not make the game perfect so that it does keep people interested in a game that isn't really able to be mastered because of the AI?
