The Tesla Theme Park Returns - A TH10 Base

If any of you out there are anything like me then your base regularly gets a fresh redesign.

My base may be working perfectly well but after a while I get sick of the sight of it and a brand new look is in order.

Whilst playing around in base edit I tried my hand at a revamp of one of my old favourite bases, THE TTP! Obviously all credit to my great friend of DTP, Pingfao.

The base has been highly tested & reviewed in the thread above, if anything, the greatest flaw of the TTP was that it was so good that too many players adopted it, learned its flaws and could exploit them.

Let's see how the brilliant base layout and funnelling hold up with some TH10 firepower!

These days it seems like most TH10 layouts are pretty effective. Looks OP as usual lol. That base will work well with your teslas upgrading though ;)

I think it was the new teslas that made me think of the TTP, yet you are correct my park is currently missing a key component.
Do not fear though my friend, the park will soon be fully functional and open for business.

Nice base T0M. The only thing i don't like are the exposed xbows. Other than that nice base. PS T0M, nice signature!

Its funny you should mention that, since I am pretty low in trophs I was contemplating switching out bows for air d - on air it wouldn't be very much fun from the skies.

As far as the sig goes, all credit has to go to Ervin.

Yeah, I was thinking of switching those xbows with Air Defenses.

In all fairness, it's an awesome looking base. I've always been for seperation, rather than just full on protection( vaults and whatnot). Your base receives the stache of approval :)

Looks good! Why do you put Hereos on the Edge since they should be so good (or better) in defending? Any way to put them inside? Wouldnt your base defend even better then?

I dont really like the xbow/mortar position maybe you can try changing that? Also centering your heroes isnt a bad idea

Since I attack far far more than i ever defend I keep heroes asleep so they dont get hit defending.

Its over 2 1/2 hours of no heroes if i get raided before i want to attack.

If I was wanted more defensive power then its definately somethng i would consider.

I know a lot of bases like to centralise xbows, mortars.

Since inferno towers I have liked a more outer position for xbows and mortars as it gives the barchers a really tough time and allows me to defend well against loonion.

I can definately see the pros and cons and somethng I'll consider if i run across ant problems.

This would get three starred by any hogger that knows how to use freeze and heals. I wouldn't use this base in any serious league. The outer heroes and obvious bomb locations won't protect vs hogs very well.

I've just looked at the pathing, I'm pretty sure the hogs would be dancing in front of the infernos for long enough to become pretty tasty bacon, 2 freezes or not.

Once again, I'd rather my heroes not killed on defense so I dont use them, so I don't put them in the base. Obviously if you trophy hunt or don't attack very much then the heroes play a bigger role on defense for you.

Unless you attack this is all hypothetical... but if I do suddenly become constantly 3 starred in gold1 by hogs I'll be sure to review my base.

Can you re-design an example how you would place your hereos around the center if you wouldnt care about hereos dying on defense? Would be really nice man!:)

Here is a farming layout...

Heroes are central enough to not be lured, also both heroes protected by an inferno tower, xbow, mortar & point defences. Good luck killing them

Just saying but town hall 10s really do not need a good defensive layout while farming imo, but your xbow placement needs some tweaking.

I raid plenty of juicy th10's with poor layouts :)

I like the bows and mortars toward the outside, here is my reasoning...

• In the range I'm at its mostly cheap farming armies - these weapons mow down the typical farmer before they get in the base.
• Most bases have central bows, mine doesn't - this messes with a lot of people.
• The centre is more than protected enough by the infernos.
• Defensive building attacking troops do not go into my segmented core.
• The lure and kill is very tough with bows and mortars in the corners, this paired with a tough to lure cc means hard work for a successful raid.

I understand there are some decent pros to having central bows - I just choose not to have them for the reasons above.

Very neat base, only concern would be xbows on outer most layer, seem like they would do almost nothing
