Against the TH9, I started it off like a GoWiPe attack, giants to tank and wizards to clear the sides of the entry point. Then I dropped the Valkyries. They went in and actually helped my giants by tanking with them. A level one Valkyrie has 900 hp, just a little less than a maxed giant. But of course they move faster AND deal more damage so I misfired the rage and one of the heals because they killed and moved out of the area of effect so quickly.

I didn't bring any lightning spells because I wanted to see if your hypothesis that the Valkyries will just make short work of the CC troops Will work. Unluckily it was filled with Archers so of course they did died quickly. The opposing BK and AQ were pretty low level so they were no match for the firepower of the Valkyries AND Wizards. I ended up two starring the TH9 (67%). Had I not misjudged the Valkyries' speed and punch I'm sure I could have gotten closer to three stars with the wasted rage and heal.

Also jump is a great spell to complement Valkyries. Even with the 12 wallbreakers I brought along there were several key compartments I couldn't get the wallers to hit. Solution Jump Spell and it helps guide where you want them to go.

Yeah thats Awsome!! They do compliment the giants well like u said for tanking and then the wizards with firepower so they fit right in the middle, pun somewhat intended:p

But yeah your almost guaranteed a 2 star with this, i just find it to be a little more offensive than GoWiPe, and a little more durable than GoWiWi. And Our Valks are only Level 1... Lots of potential to experiment and push this strategy.

As far as the name? ♥♥♥♥ i was hoping there was a troop that started with an "Na" or "Ni" to cap it off, but that's just me being silly:rolleyes: Anyway, glad u tried it and liked it, drop a pic or two when u can!

Yea definitely upping Valkyrie next. With two wasted spells and level one Valkyries already doing this type of damage, I think it's viable. Question do you think replacing Giants with Golems would be better? Personally I like how the squad of Giants simply just means point defenses have more units to shoot at. lol uh yea there are no units that are named with 'n'.

Nice. Im not sure about the Golem because the Dark barracks already take forever with the Valks, 5 on each side, so for time reasons i say no. Also, the Golem is too slow, where I feel giants kinda 'flow' with the Valks and they move together better. Like u said, more things for the point defenses to shoot at and they just overall provide more spread defense coverage over the course of the battle. Especially since our Valks are Level 1, we still need that protection! But yeah, definitely are now my upgrade priority as well.

Edit: Also, now i really wanna try the jump spell ;)

If you aim for an easy 2-stars clan war, with valkyrie-giant-wizard, a golem doesn't even necessary. Just use giants to distract defenses in the outermost layer, break the wall, send wizards to clean the second layer and then send valkyrie+ jump to the core area and it's over. Sometimes you don't even need heroes.

People still using hogs. Don't deploy them so they beeline to a giant bomb. Attacks I've seen is multi speared and some using a solo hog to set off traps.
