This is my strategy too. ive been using it since TH5 with great success, (6WB6Giants under TH7, under 200 camp space) just hunt the range that the THs are one level below you; and you should be crushing it. if they have low level walls, all the more better!

I like to find bases that have one big box, or storages in the first layer or on the outside of base.. its quite easy. its pretty fast, and cheap too. just use the Giants and WBs when you need them, and if you use them, put them first in the Rax cue.. that way if you just need Barch/Gobs then you only need to fill those types, and don't need to wait for Giants/Wbs ( the rare collector base you may find) Giants to distract the WTs and the Mortar..Barbs and Archers to take out turrets, Gobs/Minions to clean up.

Anymore advice or strategies?

Prior to switching over to Barch over the past week, I used to use an army comp very similar to The One. It goes as such:

12 Giants
12 WBs (use only when needed)
20 Gobs
Rest Archers

Throw in a heal spell as and when you need and it should get you into the core of most TH8s, and some TH9s. Really it's not radically different from what you are doing except to dump the healers as those guys take forever to train, get taken down too easily by TH8/9 air defenses, and could be replaced with greater firepower.

As a town hall 7, I would use BAG (Barbarians, Archers, Goblins) and about 12 WB. It was really good for attacking collector raids as well as storage raids. I had 1 barracks making barbs, 2 making arch and 1 making gobs.

Your army should depend on your level of activity. I use barch because BAM uses to much DE, and i am on constantly. If you only raid 10 times a day i would stick with your army, but there is no use in building a barch army overnight because it trains quicker.
