Interesting comp, not really a standard gowiwi since he obviously isn't using golem to tank but rather take fire till mass witch is laid down. Care to post pic of the base he 3 starred with this comp.

Use balloon-hog combo. The balloons to clear all defenses in the outer layer, and hogs to destroy the core.
He three starred two tough TH9s in our last war using this composition (one with just seconds to spare, but still got it done). I'll try to find time to screenshot the bases and post later. I'm still at TH8, so I don't have any personal experience with GoWiWi and wasn't aware the composition I noted is anything but standard. It certainly works!
Hogs 12-15, archers 15, barbarians 10, rest are balloons. If the CC troops can be lured, use balloons to lure, otherwise don't bother. The balloons will attack outer layer and lure the CC troops anyway. Once your balloons were destroyed, the CC troops are already out. Use barbarians/archers, lightning and heroes to kill them. Then send your hogs to the core. If the core is not trapped, the hogs should be able to destroy everything there (use heal and rage). Once the core defenses are gone, the hogs should target town hall or heroes (which usually also near the core). Use another rage. Level 5 hogs have 100+ dps. With rage, even if the hogs left only 10, should have total dps at least 1500 (enough to kill heroes in 3-4 seconds).
Note : this will not work if the base's core is rigged with giant bombs.
Oh I see what the issue you're having with your dragon attacks are: you're terrible at it.
If you bring anything other than all heal spells and fail to 3-star the base you're hitting, it is completely your fault for not going in with the right army composition. Having 10 dragons is its own rage spell, they 1- to 2-shot everything in packs.
You have 2 goals to accomplish when hitting a base with dragons:
1) Keep as many as you can alive for as far into the battle as possible, and
2) Locate and destroy w/ heroes or CC troops the key outer "filler" building(s) on either side that will force the dragons to head to the core where the ADs are, otherwise you'll have your dragons farting around on barracks and collectors while Lvl 5/6 ADs eviscerate them from the center.
When you drop a rage, you make the dragons go from 2-shotting buildings to one-shotting them, in a very small radius. they pass through that ring in a matter of 2-3 seconds, making the spell worthless for its remaining duration. The bigger impact is that you have nothing to regenerate the dragons' health after they take hits from black balloons and the ADs. Every time you lose a dragon you lose 10% of your total DPS on your raid. This is why you are able to consistently get 2-stars in a matter of the first 30-40 seconds when you have them ripping through the base with 4 rage spells, but you will never, ever 3-star it. Not unless you're hitting TH7s or TH8s with weak AD, but then you may as well 3-star it with a cheaper army.
People get chopped in my clan if they fail to 3-star a dragon raid b/c they brought lightnings or rages with them, b/c it is such a rookie mistake and they should know better. That's how 10-year olds raid. So don't jump onto this hog-raiding thread and try tagging your dragon raiding woes to the subject when it is entirely user-error.
Cc golem first Then your golem And rage spell your golems
Spread out some wiz to take out some buildings Then Your WB Bye then your golems should have broken throught the 2nd layer.Next drop your witches were your cc golem was droped In case on giant bomb.Next your pekkas and heros jump your pekkas to the center if your heros make in to your good Just watch your place meant of the Pekkas drop 1 by 1 to see were they go.Save a rage spell To drop on the th In case they have Cc troop (They will) lighting them.
good luck
