Long time lurker with weird GC issue

Hello,

I have lurked here from quite some time but this has forced me to make my first thread.

Spark notes on the back story.

1) I created a COC village on Iphone with a generic game center login. No apple ID or email was attached. I opened it up and automatically made my first village called NineEreven.

2) I decided it would be a smart thing to sync my village with my game center apple ID which I had back from an old apple device. I log in with that game center and it seemed to have synced ok. Never had COC on that GC before.

3) I decide I want a new phone and download COC on it (its an iphone as well) and log in with game center. It then tries to overwrite my original TH8 on my old phone with the new th2 base you get after the tutorial. It refuses to go the other way around.

I have my old phone still but it is on it's last leg and am wanting to get my village synced to my new one asap. Is there something I missed? Is there a way to log into a game center with your game center name/nickname and a pw and not an apple ID oriented log in?

Looking for any direction as SC has not gotten back with me yet. Thanks for any help!

Number #1 doesn't make sense, because GC = Apple ID.

Basically I dont remember it asking me for a game center apple ID when I opened up COC for the very first time. It just asked me a nickname for the village.

In short, I have a village where I dont know what game center it is attached to, but can still access it on my phone, and I want to associate it with a new game center that hasn't seen a COC village yet (brand new). This way I can then transfer it to the new device. I want to unlink it with an old GC and relink it with a new one.

Your village is probably not linked to any GC. Unlinking a GC can only be done by support, it they will do it at all (and support is severals weeks).

So maybe your best bet would be to create a new GC and link your village to it.
