The jurney through TH8 just ended.. Advices for TH9 please (pics)

After almost 4 months I decided to move on to TH9. As you can see on the pics below I managed to almost max my TH8 base. Maybe I should be more patient and wait to max the collectors as well but the problem was that i was full of gold and I had to move on. I have 9 days left though.. I'm reading all this time for the loot penalty and I'm thinking that in TH9 the good days are over.. Now in Gold 3 with 10-20 next I'm able to find great loot from 400k to 600k (gold and elixir). This is how I managed to farm the walls and upgrade almost everything in TH8. As I read in TH9 the loot is in G2 or G1 as you guys advise in relevant threads. The question is should I forget 400 or 500k loots ? How bad is the loot in general for TH9 clashers even in G1? And since basically I will use lvl5 troops for quite some time how it will be possible to attack lvl9 bases in G1?

I would appreciate your advices.

Before the update, the loot was better. I also had 400-700k loot but after the last update i keep on nexting G3-C3.

Now i droped to G3 because i lost more than i get.

Good luck and upgrading collectors is just a waste of time.

So is that bad.. :(
This is so depressive and unfair for the newer... Any other TH9 clashers feedback?

upgrade to TH9 is great anyway with 6* army. you can save dark from now to buy queen, and 6 milion gold for two x-bow.

Do you find good loot?

Right after your upgrade finishes, you will be barching if you want any loot. The loot penalty will stop you from doing all out storage raids on th7s and your lvl 5 troops will not be strong enough to core a strong TH8.

Focus on offense when your TH finishes. Lab, camps, spell factory, troop upgrades once your lab finishes should all be top priority. Once you get a legit TH9 offense, you can crush TH8s if you want but I enjoyed barching so much I kept doing it. The reason I put spell factory in there is b/c with the new AI, you can barch storages using jump spells while waiting for your troops to upgrade.

I think you know this already, but your days in gold 3 will be over.

As a TH9, you can easily barch or bam around 1700 trophies. Lot's of inactives with 150k/200k gold here. Try it out!

yeah i just barch about 100 of each barbs and archers with 8 wallbreakers , im currently in G1 at 1780-1860. within 5-20 searches ill find a good base(mainly abandoned) with over 200k of each with some dark elixer

Don't be afraid, using barch I still manage to get around 800k G/ph (without a boost) and using bam I manage to get around 1m G/ph.

Of course, the next costs will make it a net profit of about 600k-800k, but its still pretty good and I manage to farm around 7m gold in 1700-1850 trophies.

Very true. Gold3 and even gold2 are terrible. Fill your storages and BARCH up to gold1 or crystal3. You will struggle to win against th9 using BARCH so your trophies and most loot come from th8. After you kick off the 2 xbows it's all about elixir for first few weeks.

i've found okay loot in c3 sitting around 1950 trophies and the win bonus helps a bit.
