Currently I am a near max th8 pushing in crystal III and things have gotten very slow. I am currently using bloonion with lv2 minions and lv4 Bloons. Aside from upgrading them or T.h. sniping, what can I do. What pushing strategy do you use?��

Or just barch for 50%, much faster training time and much cheaper. I'll assume you have barch to lvl 5 already.

Upgrade Dragons. Dragon/Balloon works good for trophy push.
Possible use a variation if strategies, I dont think lvl 4 bloons will get you much further Im afraid.
mass drag is the most effective at th8, but very high elixir cost. Good to mix it up with when you can afford to.
I think nexting a lot for suitable bases to attack is needed and also take the snipes you find. Every snipe will give you some elixir back.
Barching is also an option, definitely doable but harder at th8 due to smaller army camps. Just make sure you count the buildings you can get and have lightning spells and barb king as backup.
gowipe is also a good th8 option. Expensive DE cost, but you find a lot of DE when pushing and you can mix it up with mass drag to keep resources at a working level.
Some people use all archers for an easy one star. BUT it only works if there are a lot of outer buildings and they aren't heavily protected by defenses.
I used Balloonion to push (LV5 Balloons and LV3 Minions) with 10 extra archers. All I did was browse the forums whilst pressing next hoping for a TH SNIPE. hehe
If I saw an easy TH8 with exposed defenses (Or something under TH8) I'd use Balloonion to get a 3 star :D

Just upgrade troops, go up and down leagues for better loot, practice using different army comps.
Use BARCH to push to Master League. Start off the push with 3 Million+ Elixir and 2M+ Gold. If you have all 4 barracks(you should have since you are town hall 8) put 25 archers and 25 barbarians in each. The whole army will be 100 archers and 100 barbarians. What you are going to want to do is go for the 50%. Find bases to attack with lots of buildings on the outside(barracks,elixir and gold collectors, dark elixir drills, dark barracks, army camps, and more of those type of buildings that do not have to be protected inside walls. Some things to look out for mortars and wizard towers near the edge of the walls protecting outside buildings such as barracks or gold collectors. Do not attack those bases! Those high level wizard towers and mortars will wipe out your army in a couple seconds! You will want to attack bases with centralized splash towers. Most of the time you will end up around 40-43%. That is where spells, heroes, and clan castle come into play. Bring all lightning spells with you and I recommend you boosting the spell factory. I also recommend going to Master League with a BK at least level 8. I would also boost the healing time for him. For the clan castle, I recommend using all Archers. I hope you have a level 4 clan castle before pushing to high leagues. Don't EVER go into battle without all spells, your BK and a full clan castle. Use your spells to zap hero altars/pads, and builder huts. 1 hit kill with lightning spells. If they are right next to each other, try and get both of them with 1 zapper. Boom you are at 45-47% Use your king as a tank to attack defense buildings while the archers in your clan castle take them down. Also, keep your town hall outside at all times unless you want to risk it and get 100%ed for 20+ cups. Another tip: Go for bases with 27+ cups available. That way you can get 9+ cups every win. Why do I know all this? Because I just B@RCHed to 2705 in 2 and a half days in Phamily Shucks temp clan, B@RCH. You probably don't care about that last sentence about. Well whatever, I hope this essay I just wrote helped you and I hope you make Master League or even higher as a TH8 to get those gems!
