The thing is that if you have a lot of gold or DE, TH9's are going to attack you regardless of the elixir cost to them since most people value gold/DE higher than elixir. Also if you may not care about elixir being stolen by lvl 6 giants rampaging, but you may care about other resources, such as gold or DE. I care about my DE being stolen mainly, and at the moment care a bit about elixir, but even if he attacker doesn't break even, you, the defender will always be out of pocket. I am not entirely sure how the cost/profit of an attacker army is relevant to the positions of the tesla's though :confused:.
