Should I Upgrade to TH 8?

Hi guys,
I'm at a bit of a verdict at the moment. I was looking at my village, and as I saw the last few defense finishing upgrading to max, I realize that every defense is maxed. I was using all my builders also, to see that I maxed my gold, and have nothing to spend it on except walls. Only my offense is needed to max.

Some info:
- I have all level 4 troops (except balloons and wizards).
- Defense buildings are fully upgraded (except AD)

Don't really know what else to put, so I'm attaching a picture of my village, as shown here:

So my clan seems to say I should go on, since I am in a bottle-neck. I let them know about my walls not being fully upgraded, but they say that I can get a lot done in 8 days of TH upgrading, which does make sense. Then again, I farm a lot of TH 6's, so I'm not too sure where to go with that.

I'm not sure what to do at the moment, so let me know if I should upgrade, or wait and do something else. Like I said before, I can always finish the last few things while upgrading my TH.

You look good enough to move to TH8. Is that Tesla maxed? Fill your storages very late in your TH for upgrades right when the TH is complete

No it's not, never really found a use for it, but I will be spending my gold on that.

No.... Get army camps 6 and at least level 7 barracks for all barracks. Also get all purple walls. There's no excuse to rush when TH7 is farming heaven atm. <_<

That Tesla is level 1 btw, so upgrade that to level 3 asap....

The complete comfort zone to go TH8 is when you're level 65.

Your army camps should definately be maxxed before you go. To upgrade to TH 8 you either should be:
1) Completely maxxed.
2) Be maxxed except walls. Idle builders aren't worth waiting.

Pfft, not even close, at TH7 you should max EVERYTHING. That includes walls, barracks, and de storage.

I didn't see your army camps weren't fully upgraded. I'm silly :-(. Definitely upgrade tesla to max.

lab upgrades and barracks are optional
If you think Walls are expensive now, wait till you get to th8...

Luckily, I don't think they are expensive.

But yes, I agree with you on that as well.

I'm not sure what your clan mates think you're the bottleneck of. This game is not a race to TH9. It's hard enough to be a weak TH8 when you were a strong 7. Coming into TH8 without maxing everything you can at 7 makes things even harder. Even the TH8 farming range is tough for a young 8 until you get troops to level 5. I highly recommend purple walls (within 6 days' striking distance anyway) before moving up. You will have an easier adjustment to 8 than your clan mates IMO.

edit: though from where you stand now, Zach is right. I wish you'd started on purple walls a month ago...

It will seriously take forever to get full lvl 5 troops. So max everything before going th8

Yes, purple walls are a must, but my defense was falling behind, so I had to catch up with that.

Also, I was a sort of pre-mature TH 7, with black walls and whatnot. I did really well coming up from that, and recovering.

Purple walls were a bit too much from where I started at, so I needed to fix everything up.

But yes, purple walls are important.
