I'm a town hall 8 in crystal 3. I am trying to get dark elixir but I will try to get gold after I get the dark elixir. I just need an attack strategy that is good for me to use in crystal to get dark elixir.

I'm a town hall 8 in crystal 3. I am trying to get dark elixir but I will try to get gold after I get the dark elixir. I just need an attack strategy that is good for me to use in crystal to get dark elixir.
When I first got to th8 I used a giant wizard stategy for it. I was sitting in cyrstal for a couple weeks. 15 giants 6 wallb 28 wiz and the rest archers. 2 heals and a rage for spells. Used it to upgrade my hogs to three and minions to three. Almost have them to lvl 4 now. So it worked pretty well just make sure your getting enough elixir with your attacks to pay for the army.
I'm starting to use loons + minions. Today i 3 started a th 8 and 9. TH9 netted me 500k resources combined about 250k each and 500 DE.
My loons are at lvl 5 and minions are only 1, because I'm trying to get bk to lvl 5 atm.
minigons are good if you want to really scare the ♥♥♥♥ out of TH9's.
